What is the best tv remote app for android devices to download since idk how to get my universal remote to download

There are absolutely no buttons on my vizio flatscreen tv to turn it on an idk how to get the tv to turn on is there a tv remote app for android that i can download to my phone to try an get it to come on

There is a small button on the end of the case or at the back of the case that is an on/off switch

    I went google and typed in--- on/off switch position for vizio flat panel tvs-- and I found a user manual for the tv which shows an on/off switch at the rhs side looking from the back down near the rh corner the site is vizio .com
    The manual shows how to unpack it , how to put it on the stand or wall where the switch is to switch it on , how to put the batteries in the remote, how to connect all the cables
    the page says --power--press and hold to turn tv off or on
    input--press to change input source
    OH and as a side comment if you care to scan the other sites you will find that the consumer affairs are investigating that companies warranty practices and the treatment of the customer warranty complaints.

As far I can understand the cell phones do not have IR capability. You can check the features of your phone on the Samsung website.

If you want to find out whether the phone can be used as a remote controller for your TV and other equipment then a) your phone should have Wifi and android / iOS capability and b) your TV should also have wifi connectivity and the TV supplier should have created an android/ iOS app for remote control through cell phone.
You can check the website of your TV / DVD/ etc manufacturer for any smart apps for remote control.
Alternatively you can use devices from other suppliers that can be used as universal remotes with cell phones.

Turn off fpa lock without remote
Install an IR Remote App in android phone. The app link below worked for me to remove the fpa lock on. Configure the App for your RCA TV. Set TV as Device type, RCA as the brand. and choose the model (e.g., TV 20 F420T) also, select the Alternate IR Driver.

All the options of the command may appear in a list form. Close that and an actual remote with buttons should appear.

Then Power your tv will turn ON. Press the Menu. Pressing the Channel Down/Up Button to navigate to Preferences. Press OK button on the screen.. Then Navigate to FPA Lock. Press OK again. THis will turn the FPA Lock to Off.
