Unable to get unlock jazzy select motorize power chair to get it to start up and run. need insturtion.
Turn on the PWC
Push the joystick forward and hold for 2 seconds or until you hear a chirp.
Push the joystick backward and hold for 2 seconds or until you hear a chirp.
Release and there should be a long beep tone, signaling that it is unlocked. Since there are different joystick controllers on these chairs and I don't know exactly which one you have this is my best guess.
SOURCE: have jazzy select series need to know flashing Code #9
Consult your owners manual for the flash code guide. I believe that you probably have a PG Drives Joysitck/Controller, in which case a 9 code would indicate problem with the brake system. Check the free-wheel levers by placing them in the neutral position, and then firmly placing them back in drive. Try to restart. If still flashing, you need to remove the seat and the shroud and examine the connections inside the base of the chair. The brakes are at the end of the motor, and there are thin wires coming from them back to the controller box. Inspect these wires for any damage, and follow them back to make sure any connections on the way are tight, and that the connections for all clip connections are tight.
The brake is electrically operated by a solenoid. If the solenoid has gone bad, then this will also cause a fault code. Contact your dealer for servicing this part. Good Luck.

Look in your owners manual for the flash code anwser. Make sure when you hit the power button you only touch it for 1 sec not more. If you press the power button for more the 2-3 seconds you place the power chair in LOCK OUT mode. lights will flash and not power. also check your free wheel levers. one on each moter. Mike
SOURCE: my jazzy select 14 keeps lighting up like its
Can you tell if the lights are flashing a number of times then pausing slightly then flashing the same number again and so on? If not then check to make sure your not in "freewheel". The levers are behind each wheel If you are getting a flash code determine the number of flashes the codes should be in your user manual or goto Pridemobility.com and you can download a owners manual for that chair. Hope this helps
SOURCE: Just bought sed Jazzy Select for my wife. Chair
Yep you have a weak or bad battery. Even tho the chair looks new if they didn't take care of the batteries ie: charge regularly then the batteries went bad just sitting. I would check in your area for a battery warehouse or store that can get you 2 new batteries at a reasonable price. If there is an Interstate battery distributor or store near you the get your batteries there. Your Select uses 2 U1 batteries. Check out my tips on charging your batteries once you have the new ones put in. Hope this helps
