A surprise here. This is usually a bad hard drive ,or a bad hard drive connection.
Test with a different hard drive, or no hard drive.

SOURCE: Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-SLI won't boot and no beep codes

bueno suerte

Win Me will not Boot after load. Win 98 will not Boot either. Says not enough memory ???? 2 Gig Memory PC3200-GA-8ipe1000-g Gigabyte MB

Try just using 512Mb of memory or less as there was a bug in Me and 9x that produced that error if you had more than 512 Mb of ram.

Hi My MB is Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000 .When I turn it on nothing on the screen happens. it's chipset gets badly hot in some moments and I wonder if that is normal.I have 3 DDR RAMs :1-256mb 333 -2-512mb 400 ...

hey.. if your chipset is getting heated badly. then that is a big problem..may be because you don't have proper cooling solutions in your cabinet, and now if it is not starting that means some of it's components like capacitors are blown off. you might have to buy new MB or if this is in warranty period then try to replace. and put some fans there dude good luck!!

I was wondering whats the min power supply unit I can use with my Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000-G Motherboard? Is a 300 watt Sufficient or will it cause problems compares to the 550 watt PSU that its currently...

By lowering the WATTS from 550 down to 300, you may find the P.C. starts shutting down or restarting, as it does not have enough power to operate everything inside the tower. You need to add up all the WATTS on the different things running on power ( i.e. Motherboard, Graphics Card, RAM, Fans, Sound Card,USB plug-ins, HDD, CD/DVD drive). You maybe not have all listed but by lowering the power might be not worth it to be honest.

Graphic card for GA-8IPE1000 series

HI there.
There are loads of makers of memory and graphics cards out there to choose from.
For the ram i would recommend Corsair or Kingston, you can get this ram as a matching pair so the both run at the same speed, the best ram to get is DDR 400.
As for the graphics card, i recommend ATI radeon X1650 Pro 512MB graphics card.
These upgrades will make your machine purr like a kitten with an excellent gaming experience.

Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa!!

Gigabyte mother board ga-6bx7+

You might have damaged the CPU/ motherboard during the process of overclocking.

Check your CPU on other compatible mobo.

Check your mobo documentation properly & set the jumpers rightly. If that doesn't help, you will have to replace the mobo.
