My samsung ln46c630k1fxza 46 inch t v that has no picture or backlights, i replaced the t-con board, that didnt fix the problem. can you tell me how to fix the problem?

Have you done the flashlight into the screen test to see if there is a faint picture?

If faint picture T-con board or backlight failure!

If no picture main board.

Remove the back cover, test the panel and power supply board by disconnecting the cable from main board. If unit's backlight comes on the main board needs replacing. If the backlight does not, the power board needs replacing

Sounds like what my flatscreen did. What i found it to be when i removed the back is, capacitors had failed in the main board. Only spend 12 dollars on capacitors, hardest part was soldering them in.

did you change power supply? how many times does light flash (red) you didnt change the power supply did you use a vom on connections?

Do flashlight test to see if y0ou can see an image - if so replace the inverter board that powers backlights. If no image then go for the main board.

It could be the t con board, the power supply board, the backlighting, or the display itself.

Don't open it up unless you know what you're doing. There are hazardous voltages even with the TV unplugged!

Main board. T con board is only involved with video issues. Main board goes both ways and since you already replaced the T con board that is your only alternative. U got backlite so inverter board is good.

if you have the backlight on but no image it could be the main board but if you don't have the backlight you have a problem with your LCD panel
the panel comes with the T-con board and the Inverter board

Do this test and it should tell if the lcd panel is bad or not, turn the tv on and touch the screen in the center, push with your finger firmly but not to hard, if you have a backlight or light shows up around your finger then it is probably the T-con board/panel, the T-con board is attached to the lcd panel and is less expensive to replace, if you do not have any light then it's probaly the power supply

before you give up..call samsung directly, they are very consumer oriented and if it is only a couple months out of warranty you might get them to repair it,, 1 800 samsung
