There is a kill switch to protect against power surges. Located under the bottom edge nest to where the cable goes in the body, all you have to do is press it back in and voila; LET THERE BE LIGHT and probably save yourself a min $200 trip to the repair shop. Of all the places my friend called non mentioned this switch so next time you have TV problem and can't fix yourself go to this guy if you're in Los Angeles.
