Why does my South Seas spa always has the jet1 light on with continuous filtering even though I have my filtering is set to 2 hours and my water temp is 90 degrees F.

According to the South Seas Spas Owner's Manual, the filter cycle begins 6 minutes after the spa is energized and the second filter cycle begins 12 hours later. The filter duration is programmable and can be set to 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours for continuous filtration (indicated by "FC"). The default filter time is 2 hours.

It's possible that your filter cycle duration is set to continuous filtration mode. To change the mode, press the "Warm" or "Cool" button and select a duration of 2 hours.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, it's recommended to contact a professional technician for further assistance.

Blowing cold air instead of heat

i can think of two possible causes 1 very serious the other no cause for concern just uncomfortable in winter time. the first and most serious is that your radiator is out of water. your heater circulates engine coolant thru your engine and heater core from your cooling system for your engine. if no water there isnt anything to flow thru engine so no heat. simple enough if this is the case you probably have a good leak somewhere in your cooling system ie hose or water pump or radiator its self. the second possibility is that if car is used and or there has been work done on the car then probably the heayer core has been bypassed the reason for doing this is because the heater core is located deep inside the dashboard and in- side of fire wall. part is cheap but labor hours are long and expensive usually around 5 hours at $88.+ an hour it is just cheaper to undo the radiator hose that flows coolant from your engine into the heater core and bypass the hose to just flow straight back in to the engine. this will keep engine from overheating and make your heater blow straight outside or vent air. btw if you have a leak in cooling system get repaired asap obviously over heating will cause catastrophic engine failure. hope this help

Water dispenser line frozen, items freezing in fridge side. Freezer constantly running/blowing

Your freezer is what actually cools the refrigerator. The cool air enters from that spot on the top left of the freezer. Make sure that isn't blocked. It's sounds like the thermostat that controls the air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator isn't working or the air flow control device is stuck.

Either way if you can, unload and unplug the unit. This will do to things. First it will reset the circuits that control everything and secondly if the air flow control is frozen thawing out the refrigerator and freezer may free it up.

F2 error code

An F2 error code means usually that you have a flow issue in your hot tub or you have a part malfunction. The best thing to do with an F2 error code is to go through a trouble shooting diagnosis. Start by cutting the power and letting the unit cool down and then do a reset of the equipment. If that does not fix your issue then do a water flow check, clean your filters, release air locks, remove debris from your intakes and returns. If your problem still remains look to replace or repair fuses, heater elements, or your circuit board. I hope this helps. http://www.thecoverguy.com/backyard-blast/f2-error-code-trouble-shooting/

The water from the supply tube which supplies water to the icemaker freezes. Which is faulty - the icemaker or the water valve?

If the water is freezing in the supply tube then its not water valve or icemaker fault. Its the fault of defrost board. Its not letting the unit to defrost on time and this is causing the problem. If water is faulty then water will over flow or no water will flow,if ice maker is faulty then it will not make ice.Try manual defrost reset procedure: ----

First unplug the unit from main power outlet. Then empty whole unit completely. Then keep both the doors open. Wait for 24 hours. All the ice collected on the coils and in the freezer section will get melted. Clean the water from the sections. Then Connect the power cord of the unit to main power outlet after 24 hours/.Then set the temperature to normal in both fridge and freezer section. It will take near to 4 hours to get run in its proper cooling cycle. Then check, if the problem returns again. If the same problem occurs then it's defrost problem. The defrost board and the defrost thermostat/heater is not functioning properly and it has to be checked and replaced.you can get the required parts from online sites like:---

www.repairclinic.com or from searspartsdirect online site.---------This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Freezer not cold enough to maintain ice and food

  • When your refrigerator isn't cooling your food and drink items, first check that the power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet. If you recently plugged in the refrigerator for the first time, it will take approximately 8 to 12 hours before the refrigerator is cool. Even though the refrigerator is cool in this time frame, you shouldn't place the refrigerator to a colder setting until the initial cool down stage, which takes 24 hours.

If the refrigerator has been running for 24 hours, you can adjust the refrigerator to a lower setting. The control panel is located in upper portion of the refrigerator compartment. Press the up arrow button to set the refrigerator to a higher setting, which will decrease the temperature of the refrigerator compartment.
  • Door
  • If the temperature control is correctly set but the refrigerator compartment still does not cool down, check the refrigerator door. First, remove any food or drink items that are preventing the door from fully closing. In addition, make sure all of the drawers are fully closed, as they may keep the door from closing.

Next, clean off the gasket with warm, soapy water and a sponge. Rinse the soapy water off of the gasket. If the gasket is not clean, it will not create a seal with the refrigerator.

Another reason the refrigerator is not cooling down may be because the refrigerator door is opened too frequently or left open for a long period of time. Pay attention to your use of the door and try to shorten the amount of time the door is opened.
  • Other Causes
  • Your Jenn-Air refrigerator might not cool down for other reasons. If you have recently added food to the refrigerator, the temperature of the food may have an effect on the temperature of the refrigerator. The temperature in the refrigerator will adjust after the food sits in the unit for an hour or more.

You may have obstructed the air flow on the inside of the refrigerator with the placement of your food. The rear air grille is located under the crisper drawers. Move any food items away from the rear air grille to increase the air flow through the refrigerator.
  • If those thing above did not solve your problem you better check and replace the relay and compressor and it will be good as new. Thanks

Power on Interior lights on refrigerator does not operate not cool

The interior lamps fail to light up as the swittch is faulty , so replace teh door switch if a contact cleaning wont help.
Now the cooling is related to many issues, so shut off fridge to allow time of 5 hours, The restart , if the fridge does not cool , the compressor , gas pressure is done and must be checked. If cooling is present then check if the auto defrost timer/thermostat is faulty as the fridge might stop cooling after 12 hours.

DO NOT use cooling system seal tabs (or similar compounds) unless otherwise instructed. The use of cooling system seal tabs (or similar compounds) may restrict coolant flow through the passages of the cooling system or the engine components. Restricted coolant flow may cause engine overheating and/or damage to the cooling system or the engine components/assembly.

    Install or connect the following:
