How do I download pictures from photo gallery in windows vista to a memory stick

First, you need to connect the memory stick into the computer. Make sure that the computer could detect it.

Next, open the "Computer" icon on your Desktop and see what is the drive letter assigned to the memory stick (i.e. E: F: G:).

Then go to the photo gallery, right-click the picture > Send To > select the drive letter.

The picture should be transferred to the memory stick after that.

ANOTHER WAY:

1. Double-click the drive letter that's assigned to the memory stick and a window should come up.

2. Go to the photo gallery > right-click the picture > copy

3. Open the window for the memory > right-click the window > paste.

The picture should be transferred.

ANOTHER WAY:

Just simply drag and drop the pictures to the memory window.

I have used 2 different sd cards in my Pentax Optio T10 and both have become corrupt and I cannot view the images

If you have a card reader on your computer, insert the card, take note of the drive letter windows gives your card, then go to:
Start > Run > type "cmd" without the quotes, hit enter.
When the command window comes up, type "chkdsk y: /f" without quotes, and replace 'y' with your card's drive letter.

If you have windows Vista, check out this article
