It sounds like a wire is having problems inside the TV itself for the power to the panel. The clicking you hear is probably sparks inside the TV of the cable having problems.

I have the same model and the same problem... I am told the power display board is is the issue and may need to replacing. New board costs around $80,or a bad capacitor depending on your paitence.
Hi, TV needs lamp replacement as existing lamp got weak or has been reached to end of its working life, please note that lamp is not dead or broken so that is why lamp lit is not lit at tv front. Hope these info will help you. Thanks.
