How to fix vizio tv that turns on but no picture

The vizio light turns from amber to white when the tv turns on, however no picture is displayed. It used to have four vertical lines running down the right side but now nothing shows up. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

Some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.

Your signal board (also called, main board) is at fault. This board has all your RF connections,RCA jacks, com0nent connections etc. I have repaired many of these Vizios. Thanks for asking me.Matt of Martins TV.

There's no 3.2 v off U33 (main module) I wasn't able to find AMC1117, So I used a Radio shack LM317T. this supplies 3.3v to video processor and associated circuit. this won't blow fuse.

your Main board went bad, common issue with these units. Need to be replaced, in tv land it called main board in computer world mother board. your unit has only two boards power board and that is good cause you get a amber to green to amber led. good luck Vizio field tech

The amber light on the front of my TV is on and I can manually or use the remote to turn the TV on but the only thing that happens is the Vizio light goes from amber to white. No picture,sound or remote...
Worst case will be the main logic board, but first thing to check will be the power supply module.

I went to turn on my Vizio and the scrren was
Do you have back light when turning on the TV? if you do then just replace the main board should resolve the problem. if you do not have back light, you will need to replace the inverter board(s) depending on your model. The inverter board(s) is located on the left side of the TV facing back of TV. you may have two inverter boards depending on your model. the other is located on the right side of the TV. Both mount vertically.
