SOURCE: Set Clock

This clock has 2 alarms to set Alarm 1, switch alarm 1 to the "set" position and make sure alarm 2 is pushed to the "off" "radio" or "cathedral" position, press and hold the "alarm" button on top while pressing the "f.fwd" or "rev" button to set the alarm....to set Alarm 2, do the opposite of the set buttons and repeat...to set the time just hold the time button down while pressing "f.fwd" or "rev"...hope that wasn't too confusing.

SOURCE: setting time and alarm clock for timex nature sounds clock

Hold the time set key in until the time flashes. Now let it go and use the tuning forward and back keys to set the time. I had the same problem because I continued to hold the timeSet button down while trying to adjust it. If you do, the forward/back keys have no effect.

Turn Off alarm on T235 Timex Dual alarm clock

To disable the alarm, make sure that the radio is off. Then press the appropriate alarm button (ALM 1 or ALM 2 on the top of the clock at the right of the line of multiple buttons) repeatedly until neither the Buzzer or Radio indicators for that alarm are lit.

This is given in the manual on page 8. However, the detail about making sure that the radio is off is only in the sections about setting the alarm (page 4 and 6). The manual is available here: https://timexaudio.com/T235B/ . The direct link to the manual is currently https://timexaudio.com/media/uploads/product/files/T235_User_Manual.pdf . Note: the PDF is only one page; the page numbers are for small sections of the page in the mini-format manual that ships with the clock.

I hope this helps.

How do I change the time on a Timex T235 Alarm clock - can't find my book

To set the clock on the T235, make sure that the radio is off. If the radio is playing, press and hold the Power/Mode (the left-most button) until the display briefly shows Off and the time is displayed. Press and hold the Clock button (the center button), the display should start flashing. While the display is flashing, press the Tun + (Hour) button, next to the Power/Mode button, to advance the hour to the current hour. Then press the Tun - (Minute) button, between the Tun + and Clock buttons, to advance the time to the correct minutes. Then while the display is flashing, press Clock and hold to exit the time set mode. This will start the clock.

Timex has the manuals for many of their clock radios on the product page or their support page, https://timexaudio.com/support/ . For the T235, the direct link to the manual is https://timexaudio.com/media/uploads/product/files/T235_User_Manual.pdf . See page 6 to find the directions to set this model.

I hope this helps.

Can I order a users manual from you for a timex alarm clock radio model T235

I don't know about ordering a replacement manual. I can point you to a copy available at Timex Audio's support page: http://timexaudio.com/support/ . Use the drop down menu to select T235 and you will be able to download the manual as a PDF. From there you can print the document or simply read it using Adobe Reader or a similar program.

The direct link to the manual is http://timexaudio.com/media/uploads/product/files/T235_User_Manual.pdf . You may be able to get a printed copy mailed to you if you call the Customer Support line (800-888-4491 between 8 AM and 4 PM EST M-F) or email them. If you want to email the support line, click on the "Contact Us" link on the support page listed above. Then click on the link for Email our support team.

How do I keep the alarm from flashing? I just want to turn off both alarms. Timex nature sounds with cd T621T, Thank you

Hello, To turn off the alarms follow these steps -
  1. After the alarm sounds, press the "F" alarm off/reset button to shut the alarm off but retain the 7-5-2 alarm settings.
  2. If you want to turn the alarms completely off and cancel the 7-5-2 settings, press the "alarm" button so that the "alarm" indicator is no longer visible. As long as you can see the word "alarm" on the display the alarms will continue to go off according to your 7-5-2 alarm settings.

I need a manual for the Timex T229B clock radio. I can't even figure out how to turn off the alarm. Please tell me how I can find one - preferably free. Thanks, Patty.

I can't find the Timex T229B on the Timex support site. However, the T228B may be similar. To turn off the alarm completely, there is a switch on the left side that must be set to Off. The switch is labeled Alarm on one side and Radio on the other. In between are 4 positions - from front to back, Radio, Buzz, Off and On. When in the Off position the alarm indicator symbol will not be lit at the top left of the display (it looks a bit like a bell). The dimmer switch is in front of this Alarm/Radio switch on this side of the clock.

To turn off the alarm and reset it for the next day, press the Alarm Set/Reset button to the right of the hour and minute buttons. The Snooze button is the large button to the left of the hour and minute buttons.

Timex alarm clock and clock radio manuals are available here: http://www.timexaudio.com/product_manuals.asp .

I hope this helps.
