I cannot receive text messages. It say text message box full Delete old messages. I don't know how to do this

Delete your old text messages on a regular basis

Ok,so what you should do,is delete some of your threads, and go onto settings and onto SMS counter and up it to 10,000 if your using a smartphone, hope this helped :)

I had to got to message and select deleted messages and delete them. If you delete them they are still there until you clear them. I didn't know this.

Go to messages

Then text messages

Then to options

Then SIM Messages

Then delete the SIM Messages.

The memory after deleting sim messages is empty,and you dont need to delete any application

That is because your there are too many messages in the TEXT MESSAGE box. You need to delete the messages to receive incoming message.

Delete all the old messages. The inbox on the I335 is super tiny. it can only hold like 30 texts before it's full.

Is it "blocked" or "full"? If it's full, then you have no choice but to delete some of the existing messages you have kept.

Both saved "Sent" messages as well as "Received" messages will fill up the message memory, so it helps to do some management in both areas, and clear out old messages so you'll have room for the new ones.

I had this problem on my wp-s1. The problem is not with the memory card, it is with the text message boxes. One or more of your message boxes are full, so you need to delete any texts you don't need.

Make sure you check your inbox, outbox and sent box, as the message could be in any of these places. This is also what is stopping you from sending and receiving texts.

Go to Menu--message--inbox--open up the message which u want to delete n then press the option button---u will see Erase/Delete as an option then click OK.Again press OK if asks for confirmation.That's how u empty your inbox. If u want to delete all the inbox messages then for that also you have an option in the inbox. Just don't forget to press the "Option" button if u have to see the function.

Steps to follow when the phone memory is full:

1. If the message memory is full you’ll be shown Memory full. Unable to receive messages is
2. To delete old messages, Select OK and Press Yes and the folder.
3. Navigate to the desired message and Select Delete.
4. Choose Mark, to delete more messages. Mark all the messages you want to delete, Choose Options and Press Delete marked.
