SOURCE: RESET LAMP HOURS

Hi Greg147

The resetting is not done in the menu.

Plug in your power cable - Machine is now in standby mode.

Then Hold down the left and right arrow keys on the Projector and press the power button. You'll see a indicator light on top of the Projector flashing twice - Lamp hours is now reset.

Hope this is of help.

With power available at the projector and the lamp off (projector off) - hold the input button on and press the power button on and hold for 5 secs. This will reset the lamp timer to zero.

I wish they could have stuck this in the operators manual.

SOURCE: Resetting the air filter timer

If you do not have a remote here is how to reset the filter time. Use the "Menu" bottun to get the "easy menu" to display. Push the down arrow until you get to "Filter Time," then push and hold the RIGHT arrow to reset the filter time. DO NOT try to reset using the "Reset" option on the easy menu, it will not work.

SOURCE: SHARP XV-Z91E Projector Replaced lamp but

hold down menu, enter, and down arrow, then press power. this is the only way to reset the lamp timer. if it won't turn on and there are no leds lit, you may have to reset the bimetal breaker. to do so, remove the 6 bottom screws and the top 2 screws on the back panel, and remove the top case. on the front side of the lamp housing, you will see a red button. press it. if it clicks, it is reset. if it doesn't, it wasn't tripped, and you have a power supply issue.

Lv 7365 projector color is all pinkish. Lamp hours used only 200. Is there a way to fix the problem? There are no warning or lamp lights flashing.

is the pinkish there when the mebu is showing. is the menu colours OK.
if not then an organic polarizer plate is most likely the problem due to overheating with age

I have an Optima HD 8000 DLP Projector and have had it for a year. The issue I am having is that the projector works find but for only 3-5 minutes and then it turns off and the Lamp Indictor turns on. Any...

hi,
First of all check the lamp hour of projector. just reset the lamp hour and try again.
1. Press the menu button
2. Select system
3. Then select lamp reset
4. Select reset
The lamp hour will be retested.
Try to do this before you projector turns off. it is recommended that do this only after replacing the lamp.

If doesn't work then check the following
Check the lamp cooling fan of your projector . may be its has some problem. its not running at the correct RPM. Do one thing, Remove the fan from the projector. In the fan there will be a specification sticker. Remove the sicker. now you can see a hole in the center. its the bearing part of the fan. put one drop of oil in it. u can use any type of lubricating oil. rotate the fan leafs with finger for some time. after that re-stick the spec sticker. insert the fan in the projector. power ON the projector and watch.
ok
