Samsung Galaxy tab A 9.7 wifi.Battery life declining on light to moderate use. No obvious reason. Is battery failing after only two years?

Replace your micro USB charger. You usually can get three to four years of hard use out of that lithium battery.

Internet connecting

Hazel,
I can only suggest that you check that WiFi is ON and aeroplane mode is off. After that I'm at a loss.

Insignia tablet will not fully charge

With new devices, you have to go through at least 3 charge, discharge cycles, before you can see how long the battery will last. And then not all batteries are the same. Nit all users are the same. Some have to replace a battery after half a year, some can last as long as 10 years. When you have an older device, and the charge is not enough anymore, think of replacing the battery (or let it replace). You also could check what apps are all running in the background and kill off some of them. Use a system app (most are free) to check what is running for you. Better switch of GPS when you are inside, because it does add nothing and drains lots and lots of power.

My Insignia WiFi Windows 8" Tablet will not charge please help

If it's under warranty, take it back.

Also check to see if there was a recall as the batteries may be unreliable.

If you know someone else who has one, check with their charger - your charger may have stopped working.

Hello Sonny,

These tablets have a "life long" battery, meaning that it is not user replacable... Looks like it is time to get a new tablet.

How to replace battery

What is the model of your phone or tablet? Whatever, if the backcover can be opened, just buy a new battery and replace it. Or the most safe way is to go to the customar care and tell them to replace the battery.

IPad 2 not taking a battery charge

Three possibilities:
1. Worn out battery (rechargeable batteries have limited life span, then need to be replaced)
2. Bad charger
3. Bad cord
All three of these can be purchased and replaced.

Battery only holds for 3 hours despite following all instructions. that's 3 hours of reading time with wifi turned off

I would replace the battery then, if the battery isn't removable then you could buy a used device on eBay for $30.
