Calibrating Your Incline Is your incline not operating correctly? There are a few simple steps that can be followed which will most likely resolve that problem for you.

The first step is to press and hold both the STOP and SPEED INCREASE buttons, this will be either an UP ARROW or a + (plus) symbol. While holding these two buttons down you will need to insert your safety key.
Once you have inserted the safety key you can release the buttons and let go of the key. At this point you will need to press the STOP button one time. Congratulations, you are now in Calibration Mode.
Now that we are in calibration, press the INCLINE UP button one time. This will cause the platform to go all the way up and then it will come all the way back down again.
Now that the incline has stopped moving you can remove the safety key.

Same thing just happened to me. Anybody know the answer?

If you have dip switches on the back of the opener then the ones in the remote have to match exactly to recode. If you have a learn button on the back of your unit you need to press the learn button and then press the button on the remote1-3 times depending on the brand of the unit. If this does not work try pressing and holding the learn button and then pressing the remote on the remote. The brand and model number would narrow things down greatly for an accurate answer. hello. Your proform can be operated on electric or with 4 D cell batteries. If you do not have the power supply cord that comes with this unit you must order one from the company. The information on how to order one from the company is at the end of the manual. Here is the manual:

SETTING CODES
HOLD THE CODE SEARCH BUTTON DOWN UNTIL THE RED LIGHT STAYS LIT.

PRESS THE DEVICE BUTTON (ie TV)

CHANNEL UP BUTTON UNTIL THE CHANNEL CHANGES. (300 SHOULD BE MAXIMUM)

PRESS THE MUTE BUTTON TO SET THE CODE

1a] press and hold down STOP/set button and wait for promps.....
ie. press NEXT to change Day stamp and then SET to pick.
ie. press NEXT to change Hour and SET to pick.
ie. press NEXT to change Minute and SET to pick.
1b] press NEXT to pick 1minute allowance recording for recieving messages coming in, or 2 minutes or 3 minutes or 4 minutes. This machine only has 1/2 hour of recording time, so maybe you can 'tell' -record- that and let incoming callers know they have only minutes and machine will automatically shut off and cut them off [hang-up] on them.
2] press and hold down Greeting button and follow promps to change the answering machine voice promps to your own voice. Machine will automatically PLAY BACK your voice, if you don't like what you hear, press and hold down Greeting button again and try again.

hello - we have a craftsman model 139.53684 and these are the instructions for setting the personal entry code - (you will need two people doing this) To set the code using the Premium control console: 1 Enter a four digit personal ID # of your choice on the keypad then press and hold ENTER. 2 While holding the ENTER button, press and hold the LIGHT button on the premium control console (the premium control console is the main opener button mounted in the garage probably near your door) 3 Continue holding the ENTER and LIGHT buttons while you press the pushbar on the premium control console (now all theses buttons are held) 4 When the motor units lights blink Release buttons - it has learned the new code. If bulbs are not installed you will hear two clicks. To set the code using the 'LEARN' button (you will need a ladder & two people doing this) you used the learn button to set the new remote. 1 press and release the learn button on the motor. The learn indicator light will glow steadily for 30 seconds 2 within 30 seconds enter a four digit personal ID number of your choice ob the keypad then press and hold the ENTER button 3 Release the button when the motor unit lights blink If bulbs are not installed you will hear two clicks.
