Which two prongs to connect to bypass neutral safety switch on 96 Chevy

The neutral safety switch is an important component that prevents the engine from starting unless the transmission is in the neutral or park position. If you no longer have the switch, you can bypass it by jumping the starter relay. This can be done by connecting the two wires that would normally go to the switch directly to each other.
Here's how to do it:
  1. Locate the starter relay in the underhood fuse box or the power distribution center.
  2. Find the two wires that would normally go to the neutral safety switch. These wires are usually color-coded and easily recognizable.
  3. Using a jumper wire, connect the two wires directly to each other.
  4. Turn the key to the "on" position and see if the engine cranks.
Note: Bypassing the neutral safety switch can be dangerous as it eliminates an important safety feature. It's also ******* in some states and can void the warranty on your vehicle. Consider using the bypass as a temporary solution until you can obtain and install a new neutral safety switch.

How do you bypass the lid lock

If it's magnetic, put a magnet on the machine. If it's mechanical, you'll have to take the top off and jump the wires.

Neither of these is recommended, because by doing so you defeat an important safety device.

Washing Machine fills and then just stops. Won't agitate, drain, or spin.

There is a magnet that makes the washer work. The magnet is located on the lid. Defeating this safety feature will cause the washing mashing to not work properly. In order for the washing machine to function properly, a relatively strong magnet must be affixed to the lid so that it pulls the contacts together and allows the washer to run normally.

WOODWAY "replace magnetic key SAFETY"

Yes, it is likely that it is the switch directly underneath the magnet - it may be possible to bypass it, but not a good idea. You can order a switch direct from Woodway 1800WOODWAY

The small wire for the magnetic bowl-shield sensor came off and I have no idea where it goes. If its not an easy fix is there any way to bypass the bowl hight sensor and the magnetic sensor?

You would need to get an electric schematic usually one is in the side cover plate.Just a note if you bypass this safety and you call say hobart service out to fix it they will not work on it if the safety has been bypassed they would have to fix the safety before they work on it.did the wire break off of the switch itself or get pulled from the inside somewere.
