EDIT - FIXED. Kymco Agility mobility scooter coming up with number 9 error code.

Question edited to reflect that you fixed it. Well done.

Just an update all fixed. Check your pins in the brake motor connector. I snapped the pin while sorting it out so redid that and now all working again thanks.

Code 9 is a generic error for the parking brake.

Error code 2 is a motor fault, normally brushes. Companies charge a call out fee to send an engineer to you or you can always send it back yourself.

I have error code 9, no one knows what that code is?They say there is no listing for code 9

Error 9 possible Solenoid Brake Trip
The parking brakes have a bad connection. Check the parking brake and motor connections. Make sure all the system connections are secure.

Hi, this is the official advice given, please let me know how you get on

8 Motor Volts The motor is not connected to the controller, or there is a short-circuit in the
motor connection. The scooter does not drive.
• The motor brushes may have lost connection. Turn the wheels of the
scooter to reconnect the motor brushes, and then turn the controller off
and on. If this happens often, the motors may be faulty.
• Check that the motor cables are not loose or damaged.

Scooter battery shows full charge but scooter does not move ! red led light flashes 8 times !

Plamont unfortunately that flash code usually means a controller error. The controller is the brains of your scooter. Take the seat off and remove the rear shroud that covers the batteries and motor/gearbox assembly. Check all the wiring connectors for damage or loose connections. After checking the connectors turn the scooter on and see if you still get 8 flashes.
Did Medicare purchase the scooter? If so they will pay for most of the repair costs. You can contact your provider that sold you the scooter or a repair service Repair Xpress@ 1-877-581-3733 or Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 Hope this helps you

Scooter moves approx 10 feet then stops led flashes 8 times then stops

Hi. 8 flashes is a fault code for a motor fault. It will be either worn brushes in the motor or faulty connectors to the motor. This fault code means that there is no circuit through the motor. Probably time to overhaul the motor. Most mobility scooters have plugs and sockets that are really to small to carry the amount of current that they do. Because of this, they sometimes fail.Good luck. Neil.
