I have a Nokia 500 gps system. The sd card with data got corrupted. How do I get that info back. When I start up the unit, it says to insert sd card with map info. Everything else is fine. Please help.
You can put the card out of your device and then connect to the PC follow the steps list in this article.

Try to fix the sd card with some recovery software (recuva or similar) and transfer the data to a new card. If you have the installation disk, use that to copy the data to a new card. Do not use the corrupted card, since you might lock up the device for good.
You have a few corrupted files internally. Contact Rand Support to
obtain a new update SD Card to upgrade you to the new version and maps. The update SD Card will not remove your user
data. Be sure to have your serial number handy,
