How to fix unresponsive ZTE Whirl 2 Z667G touch screen

Warning Hard Reset will erase everything on your Device !

You can reset your ZTE device's password: Turn off your phone, then turn it on. Select emergency dial. Input *983*987# in emergency dial-up pad. It will restore factory settings and your personal data will be erased.
1. From the Home screen, press the Menu Key and touch Settings.
2 Touch the Privacy
4 Touch Factory data reset.
5 Touch Reset phone.
6 Touch Erase everything.

what have you done so far to get it to recognize touch? I have the same phone and was wondering what you may have done.

Fix an Unresponsive Ipod Screen

Press the "On/Off-Sleep/Wake" button and hold it for a few seconds, until a red slider appears. Press the "Home" button until the frozen app quits.

Your touch screen didn't like "touching" your "really sweaty" chest! Te oils from perspiration are playing havoc with the screen. Use some rubbing oil on the screen with a soft cloth to remove the oils.

try to calibrate the touch sensitivity setting before you reset it this always work in any case.nno need to to do a hard reset

if its been water damaged or anything like that to where the screen is even cracked or scratched touch phones are very sensitive and yes it might need to be replaced.

You have a bad touch screen or corrosion that may need to be cleaned

Have you tried using the screen calibration command? Press the Wrench symbol, then the Display symbol and then Calibrate screen. Press the dots as it tells you to and you should now have a calibrated touchscreen.
