I wouldn't bother. If you can't find it, I would use the old scores as like an achievement goal.

If its the same as the 3ds hold up+system+B on the title screen and it should ask if you want to erase data.

The only way to do something of the sort would be to go into the game's settings and erase all prerecorded data.

The game does not provide an option to delete save files and the recommended method is to simply start a new game and overwrite the existing files

Saying that, you can delete save files by purposely corrupting the files (by, say, turning off the DS as the game is saving), although there is a small element of risk as you can end up with a partially corrupted save that you can neither load from or save to

What you need to do is get a new top score on one of the games - even if it's a score of 1. After you type in your name, the game will start to save. As soon as it starts saving you need to pull the game card out, then restart your DS.

This could take a few tries, but it works.

Resetting a DS game cartridge sadly varies from cartridge to cartridge, but if you have the instruction manual that the game normally comes with you can look it up inside of it.
