HOW CAN I find a replacement shroud for a Dometic QC135-A roof mounted AC. Dometic no longer makes them. 32x22.25 x 12.25.

sounds like it is low on freon have someone check with gage and add more if nedded.

there is a fuse located under the shroud on the roof AC on a circuit board that controls the thermostat to turn on the power to the Air Conditioner replace it it is marked F-1 or, on some F-2 etc.
the air conditioner works on both DC voltage for the thermostat and AC voltage for the compressor

Try googeling Camping world ,Adventurerv ,or best rv and truck supplies ,these are all in the USA who deliver to Australia.I usually find that it is much cheaper to buy parts like this from the US even with the delivery charge.

Can you get model number of bottom of upper unit, from inside the trailer? The roof unit model number will make it easier to find replacement shroud.

Yes it is normal for AC to drain on to roof as the drain holes are in base of AC unit. The time to worry is when you don't see it draining on to roof, as this indicates holes may be plugged.

Go up on the roof of the unit and remove the AC Shroud. With the unit running, see if you can pinpoint where the sound is coming from. The only thing on the entire AC that would make that much of a vibration would be the fan motor. Not sure what would cause the fan motor to do this. The compressor may do that but only if the windings are bad and then it would not be cooling.

I just replaced my two 620315.321 shrouds with the newer style without any problems. I went to the Camping World site (and called them) with model no. and they knew what to send me. I also found that they had the best price at $79.00 (member price) with free shipping.

I didnt check your shroud part no.s, but think you will be ok if you do as I did.

I have a dometic duo-therm. The unit works great and fan blows strong and both high and low work., but air is coming out of the ceiling unit rather than the duct work. The bedroom unit works OK, but the air is strong out of one duct, and not much comes out of the others. The front unit only has air coming out on the A/C unit and none out of the ducts.
