How do I set the oven on100.

I'm guessing that you want your oven at 100 degrees for drying some food/herbs, or culturing homemade yoghurt. I do all of those, so know the temp range required; 95-110. Most ovens can't be set as low as 100, but the cool thing about a gas range is that the pilot light keeps the interior temperature close to that, and if you keep the oven interior light on, that helps. Get an oven thermometer, costs under $10, test oven temp. If your oven doesn't do it you can get a pizza stone or even a few bricks, preheat the oven to warm the stone/bricks on the bottom rack, turn oven off. Then put in your product of choice on top rack. Leave yoghurt in for 8 hours, leafy herbs (sage, thyme, oregano, etc) for 12 or more hours. If doing yoghurt, don't open door, consistent temp is important. If doing herbs, crack the oven door open slightly with a wooden spoon to allow moisture to escape, critical to drying. I hope this helps.

Oven cooks 10 degrees cooler. How can I fix it?

select bake
set the oven to 550 degres
hold the bake button until you see the temp go to zero
push the temp select up until it changes in five degree increments to the desired bump up in temp you can raise it or lower it up or down by 35 degrees in five degree increments, once you have the desired adjustment it will revert back to normal on the controls screen readout
check the oven temp and adjust as necessary, this info is available in your users manual as well.

Stuck at 288 degrees

NO PARTS REQUIRED!!! DON'T PAY FOR A SERVICE CALL!!!

After a power outage, my wife's grandmother said she could no longer set her over to 300, 400, 450, whatever..

I went over to troubleshoot.

I couldn't figure out why everything seemed functional and why I couldn't set the over to higher than 288 (and thought, that's a rather odd number)... until I realized that that 288 degrees C = 550 degrees F which is the max the oven can do.

The power outage reset the computed back to celcius instead of fahrenheit.

Save them a ton of money... cause this could have been an easy cash grab to some cook out there.

Clock and oven do not work right - lights flashing

The problem could be with the switch that is contrlled by the door lock handle. I disconected the power, raised the burner platform and removed the pannel just over the lock handle. With a hard toothbrush gently clean the contact of the switch.

Good luck
PS
It worked on mine.

INSTRUCTION BOOKLET

Chances are that both elements should energize when starting up in bake mode. Since bake is by the very nature of the principle "constant heat" then the job of the control on the unit is to maintain an stable temperature for a specific period of time. Sooo... when starting up, both elements would be available to quickly raise the temperature. Once that temperature is reached then the bottom element would be all that is required to maintain the set temperature. Watch the elements for a period of time, until the "bake" temp is met and see if the bottom element is the only one energizing for the remainder of the time alloted.

Digital Control (for oven temp and clock adjustment) not working

Puzzeled, usually when there is a stuck or shorted keypad there will be an error code. First let's see if we can tell if we are in Centigrade or Ferenhiet. Press the bake and broil button together for 2 or 3 seconds. SF should appear in the display. Press the broil pad again and C or F will be displayed. Toggle to F and press start. See if that was the problem. If not try to increase the speed of the + and - keypads. Press bake and broil together for 2 seconds until SF displays. Press the + keypad increase the speed of the control. It should toggle from 1 to 5, 5 being the fastest. Press start and see if that works. If niether works..then have someone remove the keypad ribbon cable from the control board and clean the ends with an eraser. See if that solves the issue...Catriver..post back and let me know.
