R300 printer driver do I select from windows men? as they are not listed by printer type when selecting Epson(ie R300)but rather ESC/P v14 etc which mean nothing to me

The R300 is not capable of double sided printing, it has no duplexer

This is for Windows XP, if you need to select a different OS you can change this on the left hand side of this page. You need to select Driver 5.5b
If you have got Vista or Win 7 the drivers are built in to the OS and can be added by the add printer wizard or via Microsoft updates.

Download and install the latest print cd software from here.

the software drivers for the r300 are installed in vista, do not use the driver disc.
once it has been installed go to printers, right click on the epson printer and select printer pref.
you should find every thing you need in there.
you cant use the orig epson disc, vista does not like it, it thinks there an error on it.

hi , open the control panel double click printer icon , click rinter selected ,right click icon select default .

Change the paper settings in the driver when you go to print. If you have it set to 10x15 it will only print a 10x15 patch in the corner.

Go to START, PRINTERS AND FAXES then right click on R300 and select PROPERTIES. Click PRINTING PREFERENCES and set the correct paper properties. Click OK all the way to desk top and the settings will be saved.

On the printer panel press ADVANCED, scroll down 3 times to PAPER SIZE and press OK. Select A4 and press OK.
