Hello there...when the phone rings, why is it a continuous ring?? There are 2 phones in this set, and they both ring like this. How can I change this? It's pretty annoying.

The phone is VTech CS6919-26. Red, two handsets. Have gone to Settings, and then Ringers, and nothing seems to be working to fix this problem. Any other ideas?? (that's what I meant by "next" :) )

Unfortunately the continuous ringing tone on this model of phone is not changeable, the last few tones in the list are a bit more melodic but I agree the first few are annoying.

The User Manual does not explain how to change the ring tone, can you help please?

Hi gary468780 There are two ways by which you can change your samsung mobile phone ringtone . For changing ringtone of your cell use one of the following methods : 1} Go to Music option from main menu then you will get music library files to play and listen music if you like any song then you can set it as your ring tone by selecting option menu and then select set as Ring tone 2} Go to setting option from main menu and then select profile setting and then edit the profile setting after editing profile you will get another menu from which select Vice call ringtone option and then change ring tone and save it

We are unable to turn a ringer on, for when the general number rings, on one Mitel 5020 IP Phone, and we would like to make it so another phone doesn't have to hear the ring on the general number ring.

This is set on the buttons for the phone from within the system programming. Individual buttons can be set to NO Ring, Ring, Ring Continuous, Delay Ring, or Delay Ring Continuous.

Continuous meaning that even if you are on the phone, it will ring audibly on your phone. If it's not set to continuous, it will only give a blip.

You should contact your vendor for assistance in setting this up.

Hello.. We have the parter-18D phone system. one of the phone rings when there is an incoming call, but it shouldn't, since this is not the main phone Ext 10. How can I program this phone to ring only...

Changing ringing on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11.
At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
Next press the left hand intercom twice
The display should say system programming

Press the right hand intercom once. The display should say Centralized Programming.

Enter in the extension number that you want to program.

Press the line that you want to ring.
A solid light on the line means immediate ringing
A slow flashing light means delayed ringing (meaning the phone will wait 3 rings before starting to ring.)
A fast flashing light means no ringing.

When finished with that station press the right hand intercom and enter in the next extension to program and set ringing accordingly.

Press feature "00" to logout

MOTOROLA W376G...turn off phone on ringtone

Hello!

Set phones ring style as "Vibrate then Ring" , "Vibrate" , or "Silent" to avoid the power on alert.

I set my ring style to "Vibrate then ring" so that I dont have to change the settings everytime I turn it on or forget to so when I receive phone calls or alerts it still rings & then I dont have to go back and change the settings again when I turn tha phone off so that is dosent have the power on alert.

This is the Only way I have found to turn the phone power on tone/alert off.

Change Ring Style:

-Go to Main Menu
-Settings
-Select Ring style
-Then choose change, & set it to the ring style you want.

I need to have our Panasonic KXT7730 to ring at reception but instead one of our lines rings on another phone in another room. How can I change it to ring at reception.

Hello, I presume that you are using this phone on a 308 or 824 system. You will have to check which line is ringing at the other phone. Is it line 1,2 or 3 ? Say for example it is line 2 you need to do the following: From the main phone / switchboard usually ext 101 press PROGRAM * # and your system password ( default is 1234 ). Now enter 408 and press SP-PHONE. The system now asks you to enter the line and in this example we use line 2 - so enter 2. The display now looks like this CO 2:#01: with ENABLE or DISABLE flickering. (CO 2 is the line number. #01 means extension 101, #02 means ext 102 and soforth.) To enable the line to ring at ext 101 choose ENABLE by pressing the AUTO ANS / MUTE button. Now press AUTO DIAL / STORE to save your changes. Now use the right arrow key ( located at the right bottom corner of the phone ) to move to the extension that you don't want to ring - say for example 106. Your diplay should now look like this CO 2:#06 with ENABLE flickering. Now use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button to set it to DISABLE and press AUTO DIAL / STORE to save your changes. Press PROGRAM to exit program mode.

PLEASE VOTE / RATE MY ANSWER IF THIS WA HELPFUL - THANK YOU.

In vibrate mode, phone continues to vibrate after being answered

The phone is in "vibe then ring" mode.

Go to tools then ring styles using the "-" at the top center of the keypad. It will be set to vibe then ring, press "change" alter the style to vibe, vibe then ring, silent, loud or whatever you like. That is also where you find what ringtone is used for the ring.
