No ring tones when calling or receiving

My suggestion is that you upgrade your software and firmware. A good place to start is the Nokia Download Center. CLICK HERE

Some how your phone was reset or had the tone turned off. Just follow the below guide and your audio should come back on. I would do a soft reset (turn off the handset, remove the battery then reinsert) before performing the instructions.

Tone settings
To select a ringing tone for voice calls, select Tones >
Ringing tone.
To select a ringing tone for video calls, select Tones > Video
call tone.
To set the ringing type, select Tones > Ringing type. You
can also set the device to sound a ringing tone that is a
combination of the spoken name of the caller and the
selected ringing tone, when someone from your contacts list
calls you. Select Tones > Say caller's name.
To set the volume level of the ringing tone, select Tones >
Ringing volume.
To set the various alert tones, select Tones > Message alert
tone, E-mail alert tone, Calendar alarm tone, or Clock
alarm tone.
To set the device to vibrate when you receive a call, select
Tones > Vibrating alert.
To set the volume level of the device keypad tones, select
Tones > Keypad tones.

the loud speaker failed ..... it's a miner problem ....... no need to vary go to nokia care they 'll put new speaker

Your ringing speaker may get damaged.You can open the cover of your phone and just press hardly where the ringing speaker is situated.Then check with any ringing tone if the ringing speaker is working or not.If its work you can contact a mobile phone service center and tell him to clean the connection of your ringing speaker and mother board.

Or you need to change the speaker to get rid of it

The reason your phone isnt ringing out is because the speaker of your phone is faulty.

The sounds made by your phone(including the ringing tone) is heard through the speaker and once it is faulty,you will not hear any sound coming from your phone.

The only solution is to have your speaker replaced.

Since you have done all the necessary checks and the phone still stays on silent, then the problem is from the speaker which is where ring tones come out from when you receive a call or text message

The solution is to have the speaker replaced because it is no longer working. A repairer can help you replace it if you cant do it yourself.

i asume that your reffering to a cell phone you should check your sound settings making sure that its setup to ring when recaiving a call if you do this make sure that you are saving your settings if this fails it could be a faulty speaker and i would take it back to where i got it good luck!

dear replace the speaker of ur phone in k300 the speaker and ringer are the same if u not have new speaker then short both point of the speaker to gather will be ok.
