SOURCE: Query Regarding No Display on LCD (view finder) in Canon Digital IXUS 750

With the camera on, have you tried pressing the DISP button once? It's the lower left button on the back of the camera. It manually turns the display on or off as desired to save batteries (you can then aim through the optical viewfinder).

SOURCE: Canon 40D LCD Wont come on buSY flashes in view finder

Okay, this is simple. Your camera can take several pictures at one time in a burst. However when you release the shutter button your processor takes a second to actually SAVE the pictures to the card in the camera. One thing than has helped me in my wedding photography business is to buy the fastest speed cards I can find. It significantly reduced my "busy" time.

The problem i m having with my camcorder is when i want to record film screen goes blank but i can watch my previous recorded videos

Look in the view finder when recording instead of the screen. if you see the image there then the unit is probably set to look through there. Many of the new units dont' have a full view finder to lens item they actually have a small lcd screen inside the view finder. Check your options for recording.

Also if the view finder is tilted you need to close that before usign the lcd.

The image will not appear simultaneously on the LCD

monitor and the viewfinder. It will appear in the

viewfinder when the LCD monitor is in the lock position,

and it will appear on the LCD monitor when fully
extended.

I have a fugi fine pix, when using it in bright sun light i cant see anything

Geofchaam,
You could be experiencing one of two issues:
1) You are having a difficulty viewing the image on the back of the camera (not the view finder). This is common on cameras out in the sun, try cupping your spare hand over the screen to cast a shadow on the screen.
2) You cannot view anything in the view finder. Since the view finder has its own tiny LCD display inside of it, it is displaying what image the camera will take if you press the shutter release. I would double check to see if the camera is set correctly for shooting in bright sunlight (check your owners manual, or set the camera to Automatic), and if there is a difference between what you're seeing in the viewfinder, and what images the camera is taking, consider calling Fuji, as it sounds like a hardware issue.

Kodak easyshare C813 screen

Hi, are you having issue on camera LCD screen that it will not show anything on the screen? Kodak Easyshare C813 has no feature to turn the LCD screen Off only Kodak Easyshare Z series and some M series that has a view finder that you can switch the LCD screen off and just use the view finder to save battery power.

You can refer to Kodak Easyshare Manual check this site http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/publications/index.jhtml?pq-path=1398#otherDigitalCameras

My sony DSC-H1's LCD is not showing anything...but I can operate the camera with its view finder... Do you have any idea why it happens? and is there any master reset option for this camera?

I have a similar SONY camera. Turn the camera on and to the right of the viewfinder (or perhaps in a different location on your model) there will be a small button that reads, "FINDER/LCD". Press that button once to see if your view switches back from viewfinder mode to LCD display mode.

I have a Canon Digital XTI. It works great but I can not view anything with the view finder. I can only see my settings. Please help. Thank you, Kendall Hodges

The view finder is the optical device at the top of the camera. Is this what you are referring to? If you are referring to the LCD panel on the back of the camera, Canon's Digital SLR cameras (nor other makers, as far as I know) did not have the option to preview your shot on the LCD before the 2007 models came out. A digital SLR camera is unlike a "point and shoot" camera in this regard.

Canon's current digital SLRs which have the "Live View" option, are the Rebel XSi, the EOS 40D, the EOS-1D MkIII, and the EOS-1Ds MkIII.
