My dryer keeps giving an E 14 error code. Even after resetting it, it runs for about two minutes & flashes the code again. How can I fix this?

F01 is a very straight forward error and it means that your dryer has detected a short in the main relay power control board mounted to the left side wall under the top panel of the dryer.

A PF (Power Failure) error code indicates that the drying cycle has been interrupted by a power failure. Touch and hold START to restart the dryer cycle or press POWER to clear the display.

This is for a different model, but the codes are likely the same.
It is related to non-ignition of gas. You may need to switch on your gas supply, or service your ignition coil.

Resetting gas error
When the ignition control fails to detect a flame a error code E14 is displayed. When this condition occurs, the gas valve is shut off and the ignition control must be reset manually.

Resetting
Open the operating panel and press the gas reset button on the back of the user module board for one second.

NOTE! When resetting the system the dryer must operate on a program with heat and when the heat indicator is on.

Error code
Error code 14 is a normal occurrence when first starting up a dryer, since air in the gas line must be purged.

The type of dryer would help a lot.... If it is a Maytag you can try resetting the code...
To reset the error code you need to turn the dial to the 6 oclock position.
Press the start button 3 times
Turn the dial 1 position clockwise
Press start button again 3 times
Then turn to off and this should clear the error code.if you still get the F07 error code then the control board may be the problem
If it is a Hot point You have a lower element failure..

The year 2009 Bosch 24ES manual does not show error code 14.
Your manual may be different.

I keep getting the flashing E-1 error code...
In the manuel for trouble shoot I do what it ask and there's no change. It will run for 2 or 3 minutes then just start flashing " E - 1" code. Need help Please.

The H4 code indicates the fuser may have blown the thermistor. It also could be a false error code. Try this series to clear the error and if it returns, then you'll know for sure the fuser is the culprit. To reset press the following buttons:

1. Press this sequence: CLR-Exposure-CLR-Exposure
2. The display will go blank
3. enter "14", press "PRNT"
4. Press "CLR" several times to exit.

Give that a try and good luck.

Unplug the machine for 30 minutes , plug it back it, start it for 1 minute, unplug it again for 5 minutes then plug back it and it should work. If not then write back with the error codes so further diagnostics can be done

NOTE: Some Status codes will not clear even though the problem has been fixed. Status codes that will not clear must be manually reset using the 'Fault Reset 14 Procedure'.

1. Locate the [C] (Clear) button on the Control Panel, at the far right.
2. Locate the Image Quality button, below the Auto on the Control Panel, toward the left side.
3. Press the buttons in the following sequence within 4 seconds. Press [C] (Clear), press [Image Quality], press [C] (Clear) again, press [Image Quality] again.
4. The error code should disappear. If the Status code does not clear, repeat step 3 until the status code clears; but no more than five times.
5. Use the [10] and [1] buttons to enter 14 on the Display Screen, as if you were to make 14 copies.
6. Press the [Start] button. The machine should be ready to use.
7. Make a copy, to check that the machine is working properly

IF these steps do not work you will have to replace the fuser or fuser heat rod then perform the reset.

Check you circuit breaker. Even if it doesn't look tripped reset it anyhow. This is a power interrupt code.
