Replaced batteries and scooter worked great for 1 day, then on the next day nothing would work. no power! checked everything including taking apart the column shield to check wiring and tiller. was told it must be the computer which is under the floorboard, and without a manual cannot figure out how to get to computer?? cut a 3 inch by 5 inch hole in floorboard yet still cannot see or feel computer or whatever is under there that controls scooter== maybe a fuse-able link that is under floorboard?? TO SUMMARIZE: new batteries that worked for 1 day and then no power. checked all terminals and wiring, and tiller... cannot get to computer under floorboard to check it. cannot find a manual for these kind of repairs.. thank anyone that has a clue what this issue could be or a way to find a repair manual which may help on how to access computer?? . link
I've never worked on one, but I would remove the battery, and turn the scooter over to see if anything is accessible from underneath. The controller could've burned up. With battery out, check continuity to see where the open is. I doubt it has a computer, probably a just the control panel a speed varistor, and controllers. http://www.monsterscooterparts.com/victory9.html
