I am installing a 1592SP Power-Flo Matrix pump and I cannot seem to press the positioning button (it does not depress) to rotate the discharge port. I have taken off the strainer housing, but no matter...

I just went out and did mine. My button didn't depress at all at first. While trying to push the button in, jiggle the discharge both ways; the button will move in and the housing rotates very easily.

When i push the start button on the remote nothing happens

I'm assuming you have a remote to lock/unlock your car with an added button to start the engine.
you need to have the doors in the lock position, then depress the lock button on the remote once then depress and hold the start button until the engine starts.diections should be on the back side of your remote.
hope this helps.
(this is how my GM car remote works)

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-Nr110E and the right mouse button will not depress. Also, I am tired of windows Vista, but whenever I go to downgrade to XP it will not let me... kind of a double wammy question...

Click Start
Click Control Panel
Click Mouse
Check to see if the RIGHT button is enabled and mapped to a function.

If your computer is "designed for Vista", your experience with installing XP will be unsatisfactory -- drivers for audio/video/networking will be unavailable.

Anyway, backup your files to an external hard-drive.
insert the Windows XP CD, and "cancel" any "auto-run" things.
Shutdown.
Restart, and force the computer to boot from the CD.
As it boots, you will be able to install XP, no matter what is currently on the hard-drive.

'Start' button won't depress, seems jammed; timer knob broke off

the button is stuck because of food buildup over the years underneath the button, this happens even to newer ones after about a year of use, new microwaves are cheap and the lower end models start at only $35 from walmart I would reccomend buying a new one, newer microwaves use less power and are more effecient so a new one will pay for itself in saved electricty costs after about 2-3 years of use.
