Check if there a voltage reading at the two lead wires of the fan.
Use a multi-tester, set 25 v DC. Put one prong at the motor terminal and the other prong to the other terminal. The reading should be 9 to12volts to make the motor run.
You can do these checking while your DVD cover is taken off, and with power on, for a short period only.
If the voltage is OK, then, your fan motor needs replacement.

I f it is fan that has more then one speed if you run it all the time,it may
not be on high sample : low fan speed runs all the time
med fan speed for heat
high fan speed is usually for air conditioning so if everything is good then it maybe the relay.

can you pull it out and see if the compressor is running,if it has a fan hold the fan with a rag to stop iy and put your hand on the comp. to see if it is running,if not i think you need a 3in1 start to get it going again,let me know what you find-mike
