Maybe nothing at all. Apps, depending on how they are written, may use only internal storage, SD (TF) storage, or a combination of both. If you are getting a "not enough space" message, chances are the app is not TF friendly. Cell phone users have the same issue with apps not wanting to use the internal card storage. Until tablet/phone makers put more internal memory in their devices, or until app writer make their apps available to the extended storage, this problem will continue.

I have an irulu tablet. I inserted a 32gb sd card. It says it is mounted and when i try to install an app from the google play store i get the message there is insuficient space available. how do i get it...

Most apps do not natively install to an SD card when downloaded from the play store. You have to have an app like AppManager, that has a function to 'move' apps from internal storage to an SD card, or use a manual option in the Android Settings section to move each app individually.. If you are that tight on space that you cannot load any new app, you may have to delete or move something from your internal storage so you can download AppManager or some similar app, and then move as many apps as you can to your SD card. If you have a lot of photos and music you can try moving that to the SD card if your player/viewer software will allow you to find it there. Best way to move bulk items (music/photos, not apps) is to connect to a PC through USB, which brings up your internal storage and the SD card as external USB storage items. Then copy from internal storage to SD card through your PC. Best to establish folders on the SD card to hold these items and then tell your app where they are.

how are you using the card? you need to move the software that you can to the card and set it to be run from there. you also need to clean your tablet regularly, just like a laptop. not shutting apps down properly will leave your system full of garbage and no room for anything. this is true for ALL tablets

Bought a 32GB sd card for Azpen A727 do not know how to transfer apps or downloads to card?

Although the Android phones and tablets can add (micro) SD cards, that will not extend the internal memory. You should see the SD card as a extra hard disk. Here you can hold pictures and music. As soon as you installed extra apps, and the phone or tablet is telling you the memory is full, you only can free memory, by deleting apps from the main memory.

If you thought I can buy a phone or tablet with less memory, because the SD cards are very cheap and will extend the internal memory, you thought wrong.

You can't transfer an app to the memory card and still use it as if it was in the main memory.

I can't download movies,apps as to says I don't have enough storage space.i have close to 50 gb,have tried managing settings,what can I do?

I filled up my 32GB iPad Air and had to delete ALL my pics, after being sure they are backed up if you want to keep them, and deleting some of my apps that I didn't use. You can delete them from iTunes when you are connected, or try it from your ipad.

Tablets have internal storage and external SD cards (optional) storage. Apps will download to the internal storage. So under Settings > Storage make sure you have space on your internal storage.

Trying to download but keep getting Out of Space error message. Wants mme to free up some space on my MID. How do I do this?

Uninstall any apps you don't need and anything else you can live without.
You can put a 32gb micro SD card in it and have your music, videos and pictures and such saved on it.
Only problem is the tablet won't bookmark your films when you stop watching from the card like it does off the built in memory.
