I have a window that pops up everytime I go to my desk top. It says "Install Now" or "Install Later". It cannot be moved and it blocks the lower right hand corner of my screen across all apps. Regardless which button I hit, it stays. I think it's an Itune notice. Ideas on how to get rid of it -- permanently.

Most compaq PC's have a built in function to bring the PC back to it's factory state. This is stored on a small (hidden) partition on the hard disk and can be accessed by pressing F8 or F12 during bootup (before the windows splash screen). The menu option will be something along the lines of "repair your computer".
If you've changed hard drives, formatted, or deleted the partition, your only option will be to re-install windows using a windows disc.
Just borrow from someone an Windows install disk of the same type with the one you had and install it in your pc. The only other thing you will need is the personal Windows key - you will find it on the label stuck to the case of your pc. Later you might need to install some drivers - you will be notified if you must do that.
