I've got a Motorola V3 phone and I really need to switch the predictive text off... please could you tell me HOW?!?!?!?! thanks -x-

There is a setting that turns this on or off. For that phone it may be called t9 or predictive. to turn it off you go the text entry screen press ABC (bottom left corner, push upper left button)....Scroll to any other option beside T-9 or Itap (that's the predictive text) then press okay.

You may choose the 'input method' between 'Moto Input Method' and 'Multi-touch Keyboard'. Please visit 'settings' followed by 'Language and Keyboard Settings' and choose the one which makes it easy for you.

Change the entry mode to Tap Extended.

go to create message or write messages in your mobile. go to options and search for t9 dictionary or prediction option. after finding it choose off in that. thank you sir

try to rest your phone go to menu-settig-initial set up -master set up- enter 000000
if this doesnt solve the problem then your phone is factory defected so you need to turn it back. i beleive u have one year waranty

go to create a message, then press the - key, go into entry setup then change primary to TAP. this then enables the function you require.

try a master reset if that does not work you can try flashing the firmware back into the phone.

Go to Messages -->Create-->SMS/EMS-->the message multiline appears . Now press the round button in the centre of directional keys, this will take you to message editor. Now go to Entry set up . In the Primary setup select TAP english and in the secondary set up select TAP English.
