I have a GE nautilus dishwasher Model GSD4000N10BB that is white and I would like to replace the white door with a black one. Is this possible and how much will a new door cost?

Hi, In reading about your dw problem, you are in need of a complete door switch assembly. You will need the full model number, and then find your nearest ge supply house to purchase the part. Hope this helps.

here is a great site for getting parts cheap..(ggod quality...cheap prices)...and quickly....HOWEVER.....i did a parts check and I think you have a serial..# and not a model...#...I have learned over 35 years that GE...USED to use a WD..at the beginning of their model #'s...or DW...but they may not now....However the model # can be found on the inside of the tub wall on a metal plate...(or some kind of plate)...but the # you gave does not even pull up..a DW at all..the beginning part of the # pulls up a group of Electric ranges...but that's it...please check your model # again...I can help further if you get that...but with the site I provided you you should be able to find the part you need...If you want me to locate the exact part.....I will....provide model #...thank you and I hope this helps and thanks for rating my effort......Good Luck...The Fang.

i had a ge that leaked in front, needed to replace rubber door gasket....

The only reasons to replace a pump motor are very loud motor or leaking water from the seal of the pump / motor assembly. The motor comes as the pump / motor assembly, and is not real cheap and not particularly easy to replace, so you may want to consider cost of replacing the entire unit. Appliance repair locations can order for you, or you can order directly from GE over the phone. (GE answer center 800-626-2000) Make sure you have complete model number, located on the sticker on the left side of the tub just inside the door.
