SOURCE: Need to clean hose.

I filled a bowl with hot bleach water and sucked the water up. It cleaned the hose pretty well (along with the gunk that was stuck in the hand wand). Mine was filthy. It looked like it had mold growing in it. Then I ran several rounds of hot water through the hose. I alternated hot water & bleach. Did this about 8 times. It is not perfect, but it sure does look a lot better. 90% of the gunk is gone.

Worked perfectly. Thanks, jade_greeney. We thought we were going to have to shell out $100+ for a new vacuum.

I think you are referring to the stair/upholstery tool. Attach the hose
to the machine...turn the pump and vacuum on and use....liquid is
dispensed when you squeeze the handle on the tool..

The handle hose on my bissel proheat turbo 2x is clogged, how do I unclog it?

Try suctioning clean water from a sink or bucket with the attachment removed from the hose. If the attachment is clogged, soak in hot tap water for 30 minutes and clean the end with an old toothbrush.

The tools hose on a bissel powerbrush carpet cleaner leaks

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your BISSELL deep cleaner. Your upholstery hose should not leak when used. There is a small o-ring on the end of the hose that may be missing, or if the tool is cracked it could leak. A service center could better help you identify the problem. Water is leaking out of the upholstery cleaner

Might the button be stuck a bit? We had this problem and rinsed the brushes out and cleaned the connector area with a damp paper towel. Had to push the button in and out several times to be sure it wasn't sticking. Also, when the hose is docked found it tended to hit the docking station and would spray everywhere! Had to turn around the hose w/ the button so it would stop spraying everywhere. Hope this helps.

Water leaks out under the unit when using the upholstery attachment?

You may wish to check and see if the leak is where the small water supply hose is plugged in to the cleaner base. That connecction supplies water from the product, to the spray end on the upholstery hose.
