I have a 2006 seiko chime clock it won't chime every hr it will chime some hr then it won't chime again for several hr

From memory, there is a switch on the back for music all the time or not at night based on ambient light. They all have it.

You should be able to find one on seiko website

The next time it gongs multiple times turn the hour hand clockwise until it is pointing at the number of times it gonged. Next take off the dial nut off (make sure to put it in a plastic bag because they can be hard to replace) and turn the minute hand until it strikes once. Now put the minute hand back on pointing to 6 o'clock and replace your dial nut and you are all set.

What is the problem? Linden is a German manufacturer... I work on German timepieces daily.

When to music plays it is ok but, when the chime occures it acts like it is under water.

Middle Key hole for the time.
Left side is for Chime

There is a small potentiometer that the volume know is on, probably replacing the pot will fix the problem. Radio Shack has these.
