Our sharp tv model # LC-42D72U power light flashes green but there is no sound or picture. Looking for your expert opinion on what could be wrong so we can get the part ordered. The board with the power source on it is part # LC605-4001CC.

Unplugged it. After looking for a new tv online I decided to try getting it to work. You need to reboot the tv. you've had a signal drop which locks up the tv. call sharp tech support and they will talk you through a reboot.

There should be some loose solder points at its main digital board. Check it.

This tv i have one too a Sharp Aquos 46" inches,happen to me alot of times.Power light and OPC light flashes together.This problems is the tv Tuner board have problems and the causes,but this tv is still useable.Every times Power light and ORC light are flashing just push the power button again wait some times the tv backlight will come up and have picture work right away.Sometimes Power light and ORC light will flashes again.U have to this process sometimes 3 or 4 to it tv to work.Not sure long this process will last,but my opinion if u have to do it like 10 or 12 times.The tv Tuner signal board is on last leg,should be replaced.
