Stuck in delay mode

If you do not have a reset button or switch, try turning it off otherwise unplug your washer what a 1 1/2 to 2 minutes and plug it back in. I'm assume this is machine has a digital display. The machine should be ready to go!

Delay brew will not come on in my Mr. coffee

I tried everything (cleaned multiple times, unplugged for 10 minutes) and then my husband asked.... is the time set for the delay brew? The answer....no! The power went out recently and we reset the clock but not the delay brew time (we don't use it much lately). Once I set the delay time the unit now works for delay brew!

Accidently pushed delay start, now annot wash

Hi sallysue5928 - How long was the delay start set to? Typically the delay time selected will be displayed as 30, 60, or 90 minutes or 2 through 14 hours. However, try reprogramming the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If it was unsuccessful then unfortunately you will have to wait till the time of the delay start cycle that was selected.

How do you set the light delay, I lost my instruction booklet.

The 4½ minute interval can be changed to 1½, 2½ or 3½ minutes as follows: Press and hold the Lock button until the light blinks (about 10 seconds). A single blink indicates the the time is reset to 1½ minutes. Repeat the procedure and the light will blink twice, resetting the timer to 2½ minutes. Repeat again for a 3½ minute interval, etc., up to a maximum of 4 blinks and 4½ minutes.

Does the exhaunst fan turn on automatically when we cook or warm food items in our Samsung Microwave -- SMH 9187W?

Some interesting reading on page 8 of the owner's manual:

"Boilovers cause smoking and greasy spillovers that may ignite and spread if the vent fan is operating. To minimize automatic fan operation, use adequate sized cookware and use high heat on surface units only when necessary."

And on page 20:

"If the temperature becomes too hot around the microwave oven, the fan in the vent hood will automatically turn on at the LEVEL 2 setting to cool the oven. The fan will automatically turn off when the oven has cooled down sufficiently. This is an automated process and cannot be turned off. The fan may stay on for 30 minutes or more after the cooktop and microwave controls are turned off. The Vent Fan will only operate in 1~4 levels modes while the microwave is working."

"Using the Vent delay off button
1. Press the Delay Off button once to turn the fan off after 1 minute.
2. Press the Delay Off button twice to turn the fan off after 3 minutes.
3. Press the Delay Off button three times to turn the fan off after 5 minutes.
4. Press the Delay Off button fiour times to turn the fan off after 10 minutes.
5. Press the Delay Off button five times to turn the fan off after 30 minutes."

If for some reason you don't have your owner's manual, you can still download it free here.

Dishwasher AEG FAV40620W stuck time delay

Thanks. I figured it out from the online manual. Hold buttons #2 and #3 (second and third button down on far left side) for 2 seconds should reset it. It took some 15 minutes however before the dishwasher reset!

How to reset 5 minute blower delay for carrier 4 ton central system-instlalled 1995

There are potentially 3 time delay relays in this system.

1) Many digital Thermostats come with compressor ON delays that are not serviceable.
2) There is an accesory manual Time delay available for this unit. It is also a compressor ON delay. (located in the electrical compartment of the condenser)
3) Most newer furnaces have a blower OFF delay (set manually at the circuit board.

I have the technical manual for this unit if you need it.

Strange delay.

I'm having the exact same strange delay problem as you.
I fixed my delay when I too took my machine to your girlfriends. LOL!

No seriously.... you solved your delay problem yourself when you UNPLUGGED the power cord from the back of the monitor.

My guess is that when you unplug the power cord, the monitor resets itself. It's only a temporary fix, but, IT WORKS.

1. Turn the monitor OFF
2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the monitor
3. Wait 10-15 seconds or so
4. Plug the power cord back in
5. Turn your monitor ON........DELAY ELIMINATED.

The delay returns eventually, but, I just unplug-n-replug and I'm good to go again.
