On the remote that came with your TV, press the Display button, which is directly below the Volume Up button. Pressing it once displays the channel number and time, pressing it twice displays the channel number continuously, you must have accidently pressed the Display button twice. Just press it once more to remove the display.

with the tv on and sky off, press red button & select together, remote blinks twice.press tv then standby repeat this action until the tv turns off. when it goes off press select. press standby again and tv should start. your sky remote should then work perfect. as a tip with tv on and sky off press tv then back up this should then go to the freeview setup and you can watch those as well for free

609. this is how to reprogram you remote to the sanyo tv. you need to press and hold the tv button that is on the upper portion of the remote, on the right side of the sat button. wait until all mode lights lit up, once all lights lit up, release it and then press number ex.. 542 then followed by the pound button, then you will see that the pound button will flash 3 times, it means that the code is program to the remote. note: while your doing the reprogramming of the remote you need to be in front of the tv about 2 to 3 feet away and the tv should be on.. granting u try all the code and none of them works.. try to scan the code of the tv by pressing and hold the tv button wait until all mode light lit up, then press 500 then pound, tv button will flash 3 times, lets say the last code is 500 and it did not work, press again the tv button and wait until all mode lights up, press on the re tv button if you have, but just incase u have only 1 red button for the power, press it once, then press the up button every 1 sec for 5mins. once the tv turn off then press the pound button and the tv button will flash 3 times, it means that you got the code for the sanyo tv, to check the code: Press the POUND (#) button twice. flashes the number for each digit of the device code, with a pause between the groups of flashes. A quick flash is for zero. If none of the the codes work try following these steps:

1.manually turn on the t.v.
2.press and hold the setup button.
3. press and release the tv button the light will blink once and then stay on.
4.press the channel button repeatedly up to 300 times until the device changes channels. the light will blink and then stay lit.
5. press and release the mute button to store the code the light will go off.

I programmed an rca universal remote by:
TURN ONTHE TV
HOLDING DOWN THE TV ANDTHEON/OFF BUTTON ATTHE SAME TIME.UNTILTHEON/OFF BUTTON STAYED ILLUMINATED.
PRESS THE PLAYBUTTON IT WILL BLINK,IF TV DOES NOT GO OFF PRESS PLAY EVERY 5 SECONDS UNTIL TV GOES OFF.
ONCE TV TURNS OFF HIT THE REVERSE BUTTON THE TV WILL COME BACK ON.
HIT THE STOP BUTTON TO SAVE THE CODE.
REPEAT THIS BUT HOLD THE OTHER DESIRED DEVICE INSTEAD OF THE TV.
