I need a color coded wiring diagram for a peavey PV115 speaker cabinet.

Usually the colors you will find are red and black pair and yellow and white... USUALLY the red/blk pair go to the tweeter horn with red going to the + lead of the horn drivers. Usually the yellow/white pair go to the woofer with the white going to the + lead of the woofer in Peavey speakers... HOWEVER you never know if someone has rewired the cabinet so going by colors is NOT the best way to go... This should have the "soundgard" circuit in it and the lead that goes throught the lamp and resistor that is NOT connected to the inout jack is the TWEETER + lead. The pair that connects to the inout jack DIRECTELY is the woofer leads and the TIP connection of a 1/4 inch jack is the + woofer lead. Verifying these connections is the best method.

I have an ancient 125 amp AC arc welding machine on which the current is varied by moving the negative lead from to different terminals. However the terminals are in pairs and joined by slotted metal...

Since you did not mention here brand or model of welder; I'm pretty sure that your machine it's an AC/DC machine, the series of slotted plates means that the machine will output 50 amps in AC or 80 on DC. 60 in AC or 125 in DC.
If you want to work with lowest amps available, just put the selector on AC and connect your cables to the 50/80 amp side.
You should have a selector lever to switch back and forth from AC to DC in front of the unit.

Hope this work for you.

Singer 2517c -I need Threading instructions please. Also the top thread is loose -how do I fix that

Lift the needle to the highest point by turning the handwheel. Lift the pressure foot to release the tension on the system. Place the spool on the spool pin and put the spool cap on to hold the spool firmly.

Next bring the thread to the thread guide and snap it into the guide. Then slide the thread under the guide and through the slot (use one hand). Next lead the thread down on the right of the tension knob and up on the left. This puts the thread in the tension discs. Next slip the thread into the take up lever. (Bring the thread to the top of the lever and back towards the machine. Then slide the thread into the slot on the take up lever and then back towards you.

Next lead the thread through the next pair of guides. One is on the machine below the take up lever; the other is attached to the needle holder.

Finally thread the needles from front to back.

First check if there is a slight drag on the upper thread when you pull it through the machine (pulling it under the foot of the machine). Move the tension knob to the right to increase the tension. When you stitch a test piece, your top thread is visible on the bottom of your sewing thread, rotate the tension knob to the right by half a turn (get the dot closer to a higher number).

If there is no change in the tension as you turn the knob, take the machine for service. The springs in the tension system may need to be replaced.

The manual is available from Singer here: . Enter only the 2517 model (leave off the c). A pdf is available for free; there is also an option to order a hard copy. A picture of the threading route is on page 28 of the pdf (page 26 as the manual is numbered).

I hope this helps.

Hello, can someone help me, i want to know how to connect the wires if i want to use 2 channel instead of 4. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In order to bridge an amp, you will connect the positive lead of a speaker to one positive input on the amp, and instead of connecting the negative lead to the negative input next to the positive input you just connected, connect it to the negative input on the neighboring +/- pair. For a 4 channel amp, there should be 4 +/- pairs. you will treat 2 of these pairs as one channel, and the other 2 pairs as the other channel. Do the process described above for the other speaker as well. Here is a link with helpful pictures:

Washer is not spinning properly and its sparking underneath

Sounds like you have a bad or loose connection to the motor. Pull the wall plug out of the socket, turn the machine into a convenient position and check all the connectors leading back from the motor. If any spade connectors feel loose pull then off, give them a nip with a pair of pliers and replace them. Nuts or bolt connections should be checked for tightness.
If there is a condenser on any motor in the machine, short it out with an insulated screwdriver as this can deliver an nasty shock.

Hi can you tell me how to reset the safety thermostat on a La Pavoni EBR. The instruction manual tells you to do this but does not show you where it is or how to do it! Rob Burd

Hi Rob,

Open the top of the machine. On the heater element you'll see 8 cable connection: 2 on one end, 3 pairs on the other. The safety reset thermostat is on the middle of the 3 pairs (easy to spot the other 2 is flat, the middle one has a 2mm part sticking out). Remove that pair of cables - just in case - and push that button in. You'll hear a clicking noise. Connect the two cables back to the element and follow the "starting up procedure" from your manual. If you did everything correctly the machine will start to operate. Turn it off and put back the top. That should be it.

My symbol barcode scanner beeps 4 time while I try to scan. The Manual states that the battery is bad. I replaced the battery & it does the same thing.

This 4 beeps also stays for communication error. Please check the connection to the cradle and also the connection between the cradle and PC.
You can start by pairing the scanner with cradle with the Pairing barcode, then defaulting the scanner to the standard settings - use the barcode "Set All Defaults" from the manual. Then select the right host type USB, RS232 or another.
After this procedure should the scanner work.

Ok these go on a small dual row of Header Pins on the Motherboard, Generally near the front or side of the MB. They may be marked the same as on the leads. Otherwise you will have to look in the manual to see what one is what. I wonder how they came off?
