I would like to ask on how to open my nokia device.i pull out my simcard and memory card because of hang and cannot open.

i have nokia 3110 classic mobile. the memory card is nokia. i set password for my memcard. i had a software problem with my phone. so i gave for installing sw for my phn. after installing the software, when i opened my mem card it asked password. but i forgot the password. so i wnt to format it. but for formatting also it asks password. pl solve my problem

Rare case this one... try to press okay button without entering any code. if this doesnot work try your phone security code.. if these two do not work then you shuld format the memory card.

Memory card is not working in my nokia 2730 classic device, even if i insert other mem.card which is working in other phones, the memory card option is not seen in my nokia 2730c device.Can any 1 assist me to fix this problem??!!!!.

remove the memory card for a day or two ,u will find that the phone is not hanging any more thats mean change the memory card

Just create a new profile and in that just change ur Keytone levels to zero. the device will never hang. It even works very fast. Actually the simultaneous operations of keytone sounds, the vibrations while clicking any icon jams the phone memory. hence the problem. For more stability also reduce the vibration level to low level.Its the hardware problem by nokia, because of insufficient internal memory.

How can I transfer contacts from another phone to the LG KU990. also can you use a memory card with the LG KU990 I want to transfer all my info from a Nokia 6720c to the LG KU990. Thank you Lyn
You can transfer your contacts to sim card by going to contact menu then mark it ALL,then put your simcard to another phone like nokia and then upon opening your phone it will automatically ask to save sim contacts to phone then press yes.


You can also transfer the content of your memory card from LG to Nokia by using your computer,just use multi-media card reader and copy everything on your LG memory card then paste it on you computer.Insert your Nokia memory card and then copy all important data from LG files to you current memory card.

Note : if you intend to copy application and games, might not working because the file format of LG is different from Nokia so expect some errors,sort of photo's and video is compatible.

Nokia E 71 Menu hangs...willnot allow to do anything have to restart it !!
try to switch on your phone without simcard... if it doesn't hang then may your memory card has a virus... and if it is still hanging without memory card try to format your phone......

My nokia n7o has a problem....if i store more than 100 song in my memory card music player doesn't open...how can i solve this problem???
back up your phone using Nokia Pc Suite or to the memory card.
after backing up all info e.g. contacts, messages, music etc. remove memory card.

you can try to reset to factory settings by pressing *#7370# and it will ask for security code the default security code is 12345, if you changed use the security code you set.
the device will restart after it restart it will ask you to enter info needed after its done setting it up.

open the music player and check if it will open. if it does insert the memory card and try to play the song if it does then restore your back up to your device

Nokia 5130 starts up with message "start up mobile without simcard"
that wil happen if you try to start it up without sim card,

put the sim card again and open it, if it asked again, then choose "NO"

that will do it.

Most of this model made by nokia, can be open and access the files in the phone memory without simcard,

Just choose "NO"

COPY CONTACTS FROM PHONE TO SIMCARD FOR NOKIA E51
Press the Contacts button. You will see a list of contacts on your phone. Select any contact and press Options. Within Options, select Copy. You will have atleast 3 options namely To Sim Card, To Memory Card and From Memory Card. The first 2 options will allow you to backup your contacts to either of these devices, while the third will be used to copy from the memory card to another phone.

Insert simcard problem
Steps Turn your device off. Remove SIM card And MMC card. (actually not need to remove, but after format remember to format memory card and reboot phone) Press (3 + * + CallButton) Together. Turn your device on while you are pressing the three buttons. You should now see "Formatting .." word on the Screen! Leave the buttons now
