What does error code F6 mean

The meaning of error code F6 can vary depending on the brand and model of the washing machine. Here are some possible explanations for F6 error codes on different brands:
  • Whirlpool: F6 error code on Whirlpool washing machines typically indicates a problem with the motor drive tachometer, which measures the motor's speed. This can be caused by faulty wiring or a failed motor control board.
  • Kenmore: On Kenmore washing machines, F6 error code can indicate a problem with the motor or motor control board. This can cause the washing machine to not spin or agitate properly.
  • Maytag: F6 error code on Maytag washing machines can be caused by a problem with the communication between the central control unit and the motor control board. This can cause the washing machine to not start or complete a cycle.
  • LG: On LG washing machines, F6 error code can indicate a problem with the motor or motor control board, or a communication error between the main control board and the motor control board.
It's important to consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer for more specific information and troubleshooting steps based on your specific model and error code.

E90 error code on fridgidare front load washer

The error code E90 is just a group error code. It is indicating a communication error between the two boards in your machine. It does not indicate where the problem may be. A power glitch may have caused the E90 error code or a loose connection.

What does a blinking orange light on 65" Mitsubishi dlp rear projection TV mean?

Self Diagnostics

The V18 Chassis features Self Diagnostics to aid in troubleshooting problems that may cause the set to

automatically turn off or "shut down." The "Timer/Power ON LED" provides an indication of the sets operation,

and the possible cause of a malfunction.

1. Initial Control Circuitry Check

Immediately after the TV is connected to an AC power source:

• The LED flashes three times ... indicating the Microprocessor has initialized and is functioning

properly.

• If the LED does not flash ... the Microprocessor is NOT functioning.

2. Error Code Operational Check

To activate the Error Code Mode, while the set is OFF, press the front panel "INPUT" and "MENU" buttons

at the same time and hold for 5 seconds. The LED will flash denoting a two digit Error Code.

Note: The Front Panel buttons must be used, NOT those on the Remote Control.

• The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.

• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second.

• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code.

• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.

Example: For Error Code is "24", the LED will flash 2 times, pause, and then flash 4 times.

3. Error Codes

The Error Code designations indicating a malfunction, or no malfunction, are listed below:

"12" ... indicates no error has occurred.

"21" ... X-Ray Protect circuit.

"22" ... Short Protect circuit.

"23" ... Horizontal Deflection failure.

"24" ... Vertical Deflection failure.

My washing machine alarm "LL" then power is shutdown & cannot power on anymore

The LL error code indicates "Large Load Detected". If the load is not too large and you have taken some items out and it still comes up displaying the error code "LL" it may be caused from a friction issue. It could be the spinner support with bearing causing the code if it's creating enough friction. You did not indicate if it has any problems with draining water. If the washer is not able to drain completely it could also cause the "LL" error code.

Error code 1 and 3 on my Precor 9.21s treadmill?

Precor Error 01, Memory, RAM, EEPROM Test Error Probable Cause This error message almost always indicate an upper PCA problem when they are consistently displayed. Failures causing this error message to be displayed are rare.
Corrective Action If the error message is consistently displayed when the unit is powered up, the upper PCA should be replaced. It is possible to see this message displayed intermittently due to external causes. If the units A.C. input significantly dips during the power up test sequence the test could fail resulting in this message being displayed. Treadmills operating on non-dedicated A.C. circuits may see this message displayed on an intermittent basis. Precor Error Code 01

Check engine light stays on. Had code cleared 3 times and when I drive a block it comes back on. When it starts the engine surges on its own and sometimes quits.

Perhaps you need to remember that the engine light is a victum and not a cause. Clearing the codes does not address the issue that caused it to come on.
Pull the error code and follow that indication. REMEMBER that codes are a CLUE and not necessarily the cause. For example, an intake leak will cause misfiring and that makes high hydrocarbons, and that may cause an oxygen sensor error, but the sensor being out of range is NOT the issue, but the result of the issue....

Follow the indications from the error codes. Reset, as you now know, does nothing.

Error 49 Cycle Power FFF

49 errors are possibly one of the most difficult to diagnose.

49 Indicates that a firmware error occurred that caused the processor on the formatter to abort an operation.
This type of error can be caused by invalid print commands, corrupt data, or invalid operations. In some cases, electrical noise in the cable can corrupt data during transmission to the printer.
Other causes include poor quality parallel cables, poor connections, or home-grown applications.
On some occasions, the formatter is at fault, but this is usually
indicated by a 79 Service Error.

I see you state a 49FFF? any other letters or digits displayed?
Specifically 49 FFFF can be a problem if the ribbon cable from the DC controller to the interconnector board is not connected. The control panel display will also be dark.

Other 49 FFx errors can be:

NEC firmware chip error - replace the Firmware
Unsupported EDO Memory installed - Remove unsupported RAM
Fuser life test error during Boot cycle - Replace the Formatter
A Large print Job (>800 pages) or complex graphics can cause the device to quit printing. - Simplify the Print Job, lower DPI etc.,

Good luck
