Hi..

If your dishwasher will not draining you need to check this

  • Check sink drain and drain hose for restrictions
  • Unjam the motor
  • Unjam the pump
  • Check the drain valve
  • Check the drive belt
  • Test the timer motor
  • If you have a brand new dishwasher or garbage disposer, check the knock out plug on the garbage disposer.
Good luck !!!

It won't drain

Remove the bottom strainers plates and make sure that the outlet pipe is not kinked, that there is nothing obstructing the pipe or the pump or selector valve. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine once more before using it again.

Check the fitting where the dishwasher hose connects to the drain. If it drains when disconnected, it is either kinking the hose when you put it back in, or the drain is plugged at the connection.

Dishwasher not draining

Hi,
the first things to look for, are the simplist faults.
1:) Check that the Outlet Hose-Pipe Isn,t Blocked-Kinked Or Bent.
2:) Check that the Pump, is not clogged/Blocked or not-functioning.

Hope this helps you start, your fault-finding successfully.

Dishwasher won't drain

You have a kink or some kind of blockage in your drain hose. Or your drain the hose drains into is blocked. Get a small router and rod that drain pipe out and make sure the rubber drain hose from the washer is unobstructed and not bent at all.

My dishwasher will not drain completely

I had a similar thing with ours. Found out the drainage pipe that goes from the dishwasher to the pipes under the sink was blocked. Take hold of the pipe that geos under your sink from the dishwasher (usually a flexible pipe) and give it a shake and a bang a few times. Also check the filter inside your dishwasher, take it all out and give it a good wash. Look inside the cavity where the filter came out of and make sure no food / fat or other gunk is inside that. I also found those dishwasher cleaner things work very well at unblocking. Buy from a supermarket and you put it in the dishwasher with no dishes. Ours worked like brand new after I did all of this. Good Luck.
