The KX-T7730 does not have a battery. It's powered by the PBX system; this is normal for corded phones. The Parts diagram is available from ManualsLib: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/907343/Panasonic-Kx-T7730x.html?page=25#manual . See page 27 for the parts list for the diagram. You can find the trouble-shooting information starting here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/907343/Panasonic-Kx-T7730x.html?page=18 . Note: the X in the model number indicates that the KX-T7730 phone comes in several colors.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: How do I change the time on a KX-T7730 phone?

Basically, there are 2 ways of programming the date
and time - the short way and the long way.
If you are using the KX-T7730 phone on a Panasonic
KX-Txx 308/824 system:

SHORT WAY:
From the Switcboard / Main telephone
( ext 101, 10 or 9 ) with the handset on the
cradle/hook:
1. Press PROGRAM 0
2. Enter Date and Time
( The format is: yymmdd,
1 to 7 1=Monday 2=Tuesday etc, hh:mm,
0 or 1 0=AM 1=PM ) see example
3. Press AUTO DIAL / STORE to save your changes
4. Press PROGRAM to exit program mode

EXAMPLE:
If the date and time is 3 February 2010 Tuesday 2:15 pm you will enter as follows:
100203 2 02:15 1

LONG WAY:
From the Switcboard / Main telephone ( usually ext 101, 10 or 9 ) with the handset on the cradle/hook:
1. Press PROGRAM * # followed by the system
password ( default is 1234).
2. Now press 000 and then SP-PHONE.
Enter the year.
3. Scroll to the month with the right scroll key
(located at the right bottom corner of the phone).
To change the month use the AUTO ANS / MUTE
button.
4. Now scroll right again and change the date and
day.
To change the day, again use AUTO ANS / MUTE
5. Scroll right again and the time will appear.
Set the time.
To change am/pm scroll to it, and again,
use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button.
6. Press PROGRAM to exit program mode and you
are done.

How to active caller id for panasonic kx-t7730

It depends what telephone system the KX-T7730 is connected to. You should have a Panasonic box that says 'KX-TA624', 'KX-TEA308, 'KX-TES824' or similar somewhere.
Depending which Telephone System you have, it may just need programming or it may need an additional card (circuit board) installing. Panasonic KX TEA TES Telephone Systems Tiny Telecom

I want to change the background music on my telephone system - my phone is a Panasonic kx-t7730. How can I do this?

All of your phones plug into a Panasonic Key Service Unit. The music source plugs into a port on the KSU. A TA series has 11 modular jacks on the main board and 2 1/8" jacks labeled EXT MUSIC and PAGING. Guess which one goes to the music source :-).

There will be a cable plugged into it and into the music source. That's where you change the messages or music.

How do i set an absent message on Panasonic KX-T7730? i have de manual, but this doesn't help me. which is the number program associated with this function ? Thank you

Messages come from the system the phone is plugged into. In TA series, it's dialed as 75x with x being the following descripton from the user manual:

If you are unable to answer calls, you can select a brief message that will be shown on the displays of Panasonic display proprietary telephone (PT) users when they call you. The message you select can explain the reason for your absence, and is also shown on the display of your PT every time you go off-hook. Message no. Message 1 Will Return Soon 2 Gone Home 3 At Ext %%% (Extension number) 4 Back at %%:%% (Hour:Minute) AM (or PM) 5 Out Until %%/%% (Month/Day) 6 In a Meeting To set
imu2418a.gif
If you have a different system, then the instructions will be different, but they usually start with 75 or *75.

The 7730 phone is backward compatible to every KX-T series system Panasonic made, so it's also possible that you DON'T have the ability to set absent messages.

Lock extension with my Panasonic KX T7730

Do you need the default lock code because you already did this, or is it locked and you can't unlock it?

This is probably close, but in the American version it's 77 lock lock # to set and 77 lock # to release, where lock is a 4 digit number.

The System manager can release all locks from their phone. You'll have to make arrangements with an "engineer" to get those codes.
