How do I fix my pressure washer when the high pressure hose keeps blowing off.

clean out the dirt and check the hose support that likes to slides down to the end of the hose

Sounds like you need a new hose if it keeps blowing off the unit, see attached link to purchase the hose.

that is sure signal of insufficient water supply!

try easy solution first:
make sure that your mains is fully open, that tap on whihc hose is hook up is fully open and hose is of "decent" diameter to allow sufficient flow.

if above solution do not work then you need to make another, more difficult arrangement:
prepare 20litres pressure tank with inlet connected to mains and outlet by short hose to power washer, fill it with water from mains, keep it under mains pressure and use karcher power washer normaly. this will solve water supply problem. twenty litres will last about 2min, because it is re-filled, under standard pressure therefore it will last about 3min...

third possibility is to stop washing...

HI Your machine wil start and stop if you have any external leaks when the machine is running at not pressing the trigger. Please start the machine and not pull the trigger and look form leaks. A common one is around the high pressure hose outlet and also the trigger.

The nozzle on the end of the wand either twists or pulls out to get you into soap mode, the liquid you have in the tank come out real slow, it does not come out with the high speed nozzle. The idea is to soak the job with detergent, then blast it off with the high pressure water. Hope this helps.

You should put 'locktite' on the male thread and screw it in all the way and lock it there. That is how it works ,the spring keeps the valve at the bottom closed during high pressure operation. When the gun is released the part with the o-ring is forced down resulting in the valve opening and then the pressure is by-passed.Those dont normally give trouble. Look for a blocked nozzle or a restriction somewhere in your high pressure hose.

Before you start it up:
1. Disconnect the high pressure hose 2. Connect the water supply and turn on 3. Make sure water is flowing through the pump
Start the motor, run for about 10 seconds and then turn off.
Turn off the water supply, connect the high pressure hose, turn water back on, start the motor and away you go.
