This makes no sense - how do you mean, 'Went from English to Chinese' ? If you are talking about the display language for the menus, look in the manual to find which screen you need and change it back again.

Go into your menu screen. Scroll down until you see a black block with a C in it.That is the "Reset All" selection. That resets the camera to factory defaults and the default language is English.

Press the MENU button. If the menu is showing icons, select the waving flag. If it's showing text, select the eleventh item. Either way, you should then see "English" as a choice.

Reset probably won't change the language. You need to go into the menu and start looking at each entry and all the sub-entries until you come across the word "english". At that point, you can press the select/ok button and that should take you back to the english language. This could take some time but be patient.

Press MENU, use left/right to choose Setup, then select the fourth item from the bottom of the menu.

Press the menu button, second one down on the back of your camera. Tap the list "arrow down" button twice. You'll see at the bottom of the list on that screen a bubble that says "ABC". Tape the language bar and reset to English. (The language setting is 15th on the list when you bring up the menu.)

Immediately eyeball the display after installing a new battery, for it will offer choice of language.
