Looks like <Shift><Mode> <down arrow> <1>

Give it a shot. I have attached the manual.

Good luck.

The calculator does not show decimal when square rooting non-prime numbers. (fx-CG20)

You should feel happy that your calculator can perform some exact calculations. If you do not want the exact values you can press the SD key. You can also press SHIFT EXE rather than EXE alone.

Casio fx-82ms calculator does not give me an answer when i use the percentage button . example if i type 0.25/ 100% i get 0.25 instead of the right answer 25

Here is a sample of the percentage calculations that the calculator can perform. You will not see among them the conversion from decimals to percentages.
To convert from decimals to percents move the decimal mark 2 places to the right and append the % sign.
To convert from percents to decimals, move the decimal mark 2 places to the left.

On my casio fx-82au plus calculator it won't

The capability of these calculators to handle irrational numbers in radical form is limited to square roots. Roots of index other than 2 are always displayed in their decimal representation.
If the calculator IO mode is set to MathIO, square roots will be displayed with the radical symbol. More complicated expressions with square roots might not be preserved and will be given as decimal numbers.

When I enter the square root of 7 and hit enter it just repeats that and shows square root of 7. How can I get the exact answer?

Instead of hitting enter, hit diamond, then enter. The calculator will then give you a decimal approximation. Alternatively, you can go to F2, approx( and enter in the root you need approximated. Another method is to go to the MODE page and scroll down to Exact/Approx and change it to approx. That way it will work the same as a TI-83/84 and always give a decimal answer.

The calculator is able to display fractions and certain irrational number as radicals. However there is the twosided arrow key to
toggle between exact and approximate (decimal).

How do I find the square root of a number? and how do I enter scientific equations?

For square roots, use the square root key just to the left of the divide key. For example, 4 square-root = will give you 2.

The calculator doesn't have any way to store equations, scientific or otherwise. If you mean scientific notation, use the EE key just above the 7 key to enter exponents. For example, to enter 1.23x10^6, press 1 . 2 3 EE 6. For negative exponents, make sure to use the +- key to the right of the decimal point instead of the - key.

When I divide the answer is in fraction form not decimal form how do i get it back

There are two options.

1) Whenever you want the answer in decimal form, place a decimal after at least one of the numbers.
For example: instead of using (1/2) use (1/2.)

2) Press the "Mode" button. Scroll down the list that appears until you find "Exact/Approx". If you set it to "Approximate", then it will always give the answer in decimal form. If you set it to "Exact", it will give the answer in fraction form.
