How do I eject DVD from studio laptop.

  • I had this happen on my Dell Studio with slot-type drive. Pressing the Eject key next to the function keys didn't work and the drive did not show up in My Computer. Eventually it ejected itself when I switched off, switched back on and repeatedly clicked on the above mentioned eject key whilst the computer was booting.

Lenovo z560 getting overheated and switched off

if you keep the mains charger plugged in all the time then this can cause the battery to heat up. if you use the laptop in the same position all the time then try removing the battery for use or when the battery is fully charged then remove the charger, this will also preserve the lifespan and battery operation.hope this is of help to you,

Acer AL1711 17" LCD Monitor goes blank without warning

The need to reboot your computer to get your monitor working places the blame totally in the computer. You have a virus, or the computer is overheating and shutting down for thermal reasons.

Monitor repeatedly flashes Acer logo and computer display in cycles

We had the same problem with the 17" we bought in Aug. Sent it back for repair. Acer sent it back without fixing the problem. Started doing it again in Nov. This time I called a supervisor and they sent me a new monitor. Well yesterday it started doing the same thing. You can fix it temp buy unplugging it and holding down the on-off switch for 30 seconds. Please let me know if you have a better fix.
