is the lock on the card by chance. also depending on how old the camera is and how big the sd card is in gb. the lumix may not be able to handle that size of card, too many gb. My lumix would only accept up to 4 gb, so when I moved to 16 they did not work.
Is the camera compatible with SDHC? If it can only handle SD memory cards this card is not readable in the device. It will show on the camera whether it is compatible with SDHC. If it doesn't have the logo, take it as the card won't work and you'll need to get a normal SD card.
There is a theoretical maximum of 2GB for SD memory cards, SDHC start at 4GB and go up to 32GB.
Simply put, if your camera is quite old, it won't support SDHC and therefore is limited to a maximum of 2GB memory card.
Go to settings and then select phone and SD card .
There you will find unmount SDcard select that one.
from now onwards phone memory willl be used.
If you want to select the SDCARD for memory ,again go to settings and mount the SDCARD.
Usually the first thing you need to do with any SD card and Camera is to go into the settings of the your camera and Format the SD card. This has to be done for each memory card you use with that camera. i.e. a SD card formatted on a Panasonic HD camcorder won't work in your Jazz Camcorder. The formatting is different between the two camcorders. New SD cards don't come formatted. SO try inserting the SD card into your Jazz Cam and rummage through the setting until you find your memory settings. From there find the Format Memory Card function, format the SD Card and you should be good to go.
Umm..... did u try formating the card? before you do that backk all info on computer via usb cable. if the G1 says mount to usb go ahead and mount it. in your case it might not work. but try it anyway. if no good goto settings on the G1 then goto SD and internal memory and tap eject SD card then pull it out then push it back into the slot tell me if it works on the PC now.
