The handset has been programmed to auto answer all or some calls. You will need to change it to normal answer mode via EXTN 20/21 whichever is your programming extension. To tell which one is your default extension it is usually the extension that will still work as a normal telephone in the event of a mains power failure.
Go to support on the new phones manufacturers web site and you can download an owners manual, which will tell you how to re-program the phones extension. murf427
You are basically setting up what extension teh phone is to use. Now you need to tell teh extension what user is going to use it. If the phone says, no user, then there should be a login button. If there is not, contact the admin person so they can program one.
First press feature *0 then the intercom button this will tell you the extension number. write this down.

should now say terminals and sets on the phone.
press 1st lit arrow on the left side of phone
enter extension number or press find and enter extension number.
press the top arrow on left side of phone until you see line assignment
press list
when you get to the new line press change until the line says appear only(no ring) or appear and ring(rings on the phone)
press rls when done
Whoops, the second part of that is press FEATURE *0 and the intercom button before you move it and see what extension it is.
Do the same thing after you move it. It will tell you what extension it is and if it stayed the same.
The system CoOrdinator or installer can turn off that Auto Set Relocation feature :-)
so,first find out what is the port of this 106. by go to 106.it has to be a display phone.press feature then 4. it probably show 106 tel 07. so your ext port is 07.
go to any display phone. press feature #0*8974.show program mode.now press line 4 then number 18.show 01/18. name of ext.now you press **** 4 times then press 07.show 07/18 sta name.now you can use the key pad to enter mat.press hold to deleted any digit.agter you done press TRF then speaker to exit.
