Remove the back cover, test the panel and power supply board by disconnecting the cable from main board. If unit's backlight comes on the main board needs replacing. If the backlight does not, the power board needs replacing

While you have the back cover off, test the panel and power supply board by disconnecting the cable from main board. If unit's backlight comes on the main board needs replacing. If the backlight does not, the power board needs replacing.

Screen loses picture but still has sound...when off for a few minute works ok for about 2 hrs...the last time picture was lost I got a dark screen with the work INITIALIZE ..This is a 36 in TV DVD...

Insignia ns lcd37hd 09 picture no sound tv turnson runs for half hour then screen goes black. sound still plays but the light goes out

bad Main board could cause this too. Unplug the three wires from the PWS to the mainbd and try it.
